I always draw down on books at conclusion of regular season to starting amounts for next year, mostly out of precausion for any of them going under which occurs in 90% of cases right after foots season which some live and die by. Do almost exclusively by Neteller on most and here is rundown on efficiency of those where withdrawels were requested.
Oly-Wsex-5 Dimes-Cascade- payment made within 24 hours

365 Got cannot withdraw by this method pop up but after email they stated I needed to withdraw via Neteller site and gave me their Merchant Id--no problem then

Sportingbet Can not withdraw via Neteller but gave me easy info on payment by check.

Bookmakers: Can not withdraw via Neteller & trying to make me jump thru hoops via something called Moneybookers.com haven't looked into it but intially appears they want to transfer via bank transfer and I'd let this outfit keep the money before I'd give them a bank account #---but I do love their their linesmaker---did a little broom job on em in season ending event. Still getting revenge for trying to stiff Stan and the rest of us on Quig :)

Haven't posted on this forum before.

Question for BTB

You mentioned Cascade as a book you use. I can never get on their website from the link on Stan's 'List' - how do you access their prices?

Redsfan I really considered closing out Cascade completely but thought I'd leave a little there. The reason I signed up is last year they had 20 cent lines which is good for golf but since have went to 30 cent lines and cloned matches which make them no big deal.
I just tried link @ Stans and it works fine and is same addy I use:confused:

DTB just adding something here about books. Have an account at Bowmans and although they mostly have the standard matchups I have found some unique prices on the matchups. Maybe not good enough to make them a main out but their lines are definitley worth checking out. Hoping to have some extra cash there next year as right now am tied for 2nd in their big $110,000 football contest although a bad week will drop you long down the list in a hurry !

Thanks SS Am always glad to here others experience. Will check them out. I know most books in golf will be UK variety and not sure bout posting links of books not signed with Jack here, maybe we could just use names, as most viable ones are on Stans golf list.
That is one reason I check to make sure my Cascade link was same as on list for Redsfan.

Have plenty of time this week as was going back through posts at beginning of year and it was most enlightening to see on basically 1st year of full time posting here how yourself,LIA,Trampled and others were so resourceful. I am sure most of us use Stan's site as capping bible. Maybe in a few weeks we can have a tour-tips thread and share different angles we get from Stan's site. I know each year I pickup something new on it. One that comes in handy during the coming silly season is adjusted scroring ave on these chaps we are not familiar with on "other tours".Does good job in seperating the wheat from the chaff.

DTB--I would love to see that discussion. I look to make golf my only sport next year. Not sure if you remember how confusing this sport's lingo is in the punting world, but I get headaches trying to decipher some of the items.

I look forward to reading everyone's insight.;)

I plan on making golf about 90% of my action next year. It was pretty close to that already for this year. I just get a lot more enjoyment out of the sport and my betting experience. Not to mention i've just had a better results than with any other sport. I must thank Stan for his wonderful site. What a resource. I'm just glad that I finally poked my head in the forum one day a year or so back. :D

Cash that was sent mid Novwith check still not credited at Stan James. I am beginning to worry--a little:)

Gamebookers pulls another one.

I have had this wager pending since event and they say wager is for 2004 event (which is how it is listed) but can not explain to me why they had lines on Furyk-Weir-Curtis and Micheel and don't know entrants yet in 2004:mad:

One book I have been using more and more are Intertops...used them a couple of years ago for some novelty bets and have been back a few times.

Had a problem with them last week over a skiiing bet(!) but they were very gracious and did the right thing.

Have been having a few problems getting money back from Sportsbetting.

Also very pleased with Canbet, have been using them quite a lot.

One of my aims for 04 is to use the money companies more, Neteller etc as I think that is the way forward.

I currently have over 70 accounts, and keeping track is a nightmare.

skiiing bet:eek:
over 70 accounts:scared

Wow Clive I'd have to get an accountant:)

I like Neteller, only scared good things never last.

Now have similiar account at place called moneybookers which was only method I could use to withdraw from Gamebookers but don't know squat about them or if anyone else takes them but would rather have them steal the money than G-Bookers.

DTB,
Moneybookers and Gamebookers are owned by the same parent company. Which means they both suck. What can I say i'm still pissed they f*cked me out of four dimes. It did teach me a lesson. Never play with inferior books. Never again. I do have some good news though.....I do believe Pinnacle now takes Moneybookers. :D

Thanks a bunch for info on Pinnacle. I can withdraw balance there via Neteller and transfer funds back in via moneybookers. As I will never put anymore money in gamebookers but do plan to withdraw more in future. :)
They finally graded (after 5 emails) Furyk a winner.

Now if I can just get Stan James funded. I sent funding to attention of Christine O'Neil and sent her query this past week but no response yet. Been over a month since it was sent Global Express, however Stan's note mays me more at ease but seems they could do the cash portion immediately as couple books in past have done.

Was going over last year in running wagers and noticed that on several occasions I would go on top player after bad 1st rd thinking he had 3 days to recover. Did a little checking to see if 0-8 on them was coincidence or just bad wager.Appears they were bad wagers.I did not look at Tigers scores because his odds are seldom justified and rarely look at his odds but---
Singh-Furyk-Love-Weir-Perry and Goose had 52 top 5's between them in full field events. With the exception of Singhs 75 in 1st rd of B.O. 73 was the highest 1st rd score between them where they went on to finish top 5 and if you exclude majors this (73)only happened 3 times.
So needless to say I will throttle my expectations on their prowess to recover after any 1st rd score greater than 72.

70 Accounts Clive - that's amazing. I have 28 and thought I'd maxed out - as DTB suggests, I'd need a fulltime assistance to manage more than the ones I already have.

Apart from one company that went bust early last year (name now escapes me), with ?250 of my money, I have had no problems at all collecting winnings from any of the current stable of 28 I now use.

I fund all these accounts from the same bank debit card, and keep most of the money in the bank - not on deposit with the bookmakers - just in case! I find that almost all of them refund back to the debit card within 72 hours - at the latest. 48 hours is the norm.

Good Luck to everyone in 2004 - here's to a profitable year.

Just checked...71 to be precise, although admittedly a few belong to Mrs Clive....mainly those books who decline a decent bet.

I'm currently looking to expand into a few more US based books...

Have accs at
Expekt, 5Dimes, Oly, SIAS, Sportsbetting, Intertops

but looking for a few more....any ideas?

I know you do mostly outrights Clive but if you get very heavy into match bets would look at Pinnacle and WESX. You know scoop on Pinnacles 8 cent lines. Wsex has informed me they will go to 8 cent lines also next year. We'll see,but I think their 1/2 stroke wagers could serve you some scalps vs UK lines. I saw several last year however my small wagers did not justify. 5dimes have them also now.

If anyone sees any outs adding place wagers only give me a shout. only ones I have are Oly-5 dimes-SIA-Centrebet-365-Skybet-Boyles-and Gamebookers.
