dallas......
Modano practiced with team on Sat...
Kirk Muller missed practice with the flu and is listed as questionable. ... Ken Hitchcock said he had not made a decision whether to insert Dave Manson or Sami Helenius into the lineup. Manson played five seasons with the Blackhawks, so he might play. ... The goalie rotation has Ed Belfour against the Blackhawks and Marty Turco on Monday against Columbus. Belfour is 8-4-3 lifetime against the Blackhawks with a 1.89 GAA.

I believe CHicago is still undefeated on their first game home after a road trip..something like 10-0-2..will try to post more info later on, goin to watch some fball

I checked, they are undefeated this season in their first game back from a trip. With them playing a hot team after struggling at Tampa and with the angle of struggling after a trip being such a strong one long term in the NHL, maybe tonight will be the night Chicago finally trips up.

yeah it's hard to believe that the hawks have not lost yet in their first home game off a road trip, actually it's mind-boggling, dallas definitely has a shot and after their loss to florida, should be motivated
(fans should get on belfour a little bit tonight as he returns back to his old stomping grounds)

In 14 career games against the Blackhawks, Belfour has a 1.88 goals-against average.

Hitchcock said he's considering whether to put Pierre Turgeon, who has not scored a goal in 21 games, at wing with Modano or go back to a three-center lineup with Modano, Turgeon and Joe Nieuwendyk.

reekie making home debut tonight and addition of reekie will allow housley more time on power play unit..

Keep the good info coming Wigs!

Blackhawks' official site sez "Coach Brian Sutter is expected to go with Jocelyn Thibault" tonight. No surprise there.

Thibault has been excellent lately. Belfour coming off poor night, will want to bounce back. Last few meetings have gone under.

Whoa! Just noticed Hasek is 21-7-5 vs Ott with 1.36 gga, .956 save pct. Overall, his most impressive mark against any team.

1.36 gga in 34 starts! I can hardly believe it.

Ottawa is 3-3 on 0 days rest. Ott (since 11/20) is 2-8-2 following a win.

The two wins were Lalime beating his old team, Pitt--and Hurme outduelling Khabib 2-1.
