The inability to capitalize on Malcolm Jenkins' blocked field goal, and mistakes by players who needed to step up amid injuries, cost the Philadelphia Eagles in a 27-24 loss to the Detroit Lions, and has put the Super Bowl hopefuls in a precarious position heading into Thursday night's game at the Green Bay Packers. Philadelphia has loads of talent but early injuries have hit the veteran-laden roster hard. And with DeSean Jackson (abdominal strain) expected to miss Thursday's game in Green Bay, and Alshon Jeffery (quad) iffy, the Eagles enter a critical game against the Packers shorthanded.

Aaron Rodgers couldn't ask for much more heading into a short week: a win and he said took only one hit. He said he's normally very sore leading up to Thursday games, "but that won't be case this week... really appreciate the offensive line."

The Jets' offense was brutal, managing zero points in a 30-14 loss to the Patriots. They got a defensive touchdown and a special teams touchdown, and that was it. Adam Gase is in charge of the offense, and he needs to come up with solutions during the bye week. The anticipated return of Sam Darnold in Week 5 will help

The NY Giants have given up 35 to Dallas ..28 to Buffalo and 28 to TB in the First Half...

for you folks that play 10 and 13 point teasers teams like the Giants are Golden..

Especially now with Jones ..he will muster so Offense and teased totals are sweet

their D might not be as stout but it will certainly have 3 weeks of game film now ..

AZ offense can score a few points but without that designed offensive line against these Pro linemen and linebackers little man going to spend a lot of time running in the backfield and sitting on his ass.

Unlike for Wilson,Mahomes and others those passing lanes and running lanes are not a super highway yet.

Seahawks are -3/ 45' in the desert

Carolina goes to Houston where the total may be 50 ..

If anybody ever looked like they were waiting on the job Kyle Allen sure looked the part today.

Thing is we can't forget he is filling the shoes of a former league MVP who is coming off injury and rehab so I don't want to be to quick to say pull the plug.

You could tell my the body language of the players today that they were thrilled with his play ...

BUT...the fist bumps were slow to come and the high fives were a little reserved out of respect for their leader.

If Cam is beat up to the point that he can't lead HIS TEAM then send Kyle back out there and see if the magic continues.

There was talk today that he was a sleeper ...well the world knows now..and there is film..

Maybe not without a former MVP in the NFL...let's see some more snaps...
