Notre Dame -5 over Marist ***
Foxes ats are 8-1. Trends, numbers etc are all on the red Foxes sides. ND just got wipped up by Citadel 65-45. Foxes have won 5 in a row and Irish have lost 4 in a row. Game is in South Bend tonight. ND is 2-4 ats at home . ND has a new coach in Shrewbery who replaces Brey. Love Former St Peter coach Dunne who now has been in Poughkeepsie for a few years. Great defensive coach who can go the the Poughkeepsie mall pick out 5 people and in a week would be able to mold them into defensive players. He had some success last yr despite losing 20 games but made the Finals of the MAAC tourney. I have been his biggest supporter at Marist and the question is " is this the year he finally turns the corner at Marist. Think he is under .500 in his 3 or 4 years here. Foxes are 8-1 ats and ND is opposite. After Citadel loss think Shrewberry has to realize he is gone from the golden dome . ND has frosh Buckner and some big boys inside. Think tonite they wake up and handle the Red Foxes. Part of Dunnes's recruiting is " come to Marist and your junior year we are playing Notre dame in South bend". Although ats and trends are backing the Red Foxes tonight, I think Shrewberry has to tell his players " we just got smoked by the Citadel who declared no school the next day after the upset win and now have this small catholic school from the Hudson Valley in upstate NY who will declare no school for a week if we can beat ND in south Bend. Think Irish wake up and send the Foxes back to NY with their tails between their legs tonight..
