i picked the right night to jump on the kickserv train. nicely done. i wasn't happy when it went from 2-1 after 1 to 2-2 with about 12 minutes left. but then they remembered kick needed some goals. i walked out of the room when it was 3-2 with maybe 8 minutes left. i walked back in with a few minutes left and it was 4-3. woot woot!!

so that game reminded me of a question i've long had... do people go to hockey games with old hats they don't want any more, just in case there's a hat trick? or are most of these people actually tossing out their go-to hats? just seems silly, unless you have an old hat with you that you don't wear any more. or does everyone have their name written in their hat so they can get it back?

can't we go back to tossing squid on the ice? where was that, detroit?

1. kickserv is awesome, never doubt him.

2. At some NHL arenas you can get your hat back, but 90 percent of the time, your hat is a goner.

3. The Octopus is in Detroit.
