Well,

Pick CT -8.5

Why? Shooooot ....did ya see the UNC game......It got better (much better) for Ct after it was pre-empted for a more competitive game.....They were up 44 before Calhoun started pulling starters at the 7 min mark.......all walkons finished up. Wow! This team MAY become very tough before its all over.
Anyway.........I would not take St. Johns with 15 points tonight after last game....Caron Butler (29 in last)"once you believe in everyone on your team, good things are going to happen" CT is sky high and....................should win every facet of this game........ FG % CT 52% home ....ST Johns 38% away.....PPG - CT/home 84...opposition 66.....St Johns/away 62 Rebounds...CT/home 42 ....St johns/away 34............Free throws ...advantage CT
Blocks ....BIG advantage CT.........3pointers CT/home 38%
St Johns /away 22%
ST JOHNS......will turn over CT 15 + times but it wont matter.
Johnnie Selvie is looking to take it right to A Glover....and Willie Shaw who killed CT last year shooting 50% from 3 is now down to 27 % from 3. CT is better...flat out better....Yhey have had a real tough time with St Johns in the last 3 years LOSING all 5 games ATS and 4 of 5 SU..............Not tonight ....different team and starting to gel.............Gampbel WILL be a super tough venue for the Johnnies tonite..... we'll see
Oh yes! red Storm has a fine point in Marcus Hatten but CT perimeter D is much better now that Emeka Okafor can be so effective inside....
By the way....this would normally be a huge overlay in this game
but off last.....well see

Good Luck

You are forgetting the intangibles my friend..

You are forgetting the intangibles my friend..

SJU plays their heart out every night, and that will surely continue against a bitter rival in UCONN. And as good as Okeafor is inside and as tight as UCONN thinks they can play Hatten, it will not matter. Hatten is flat out UNSTOPPABLE. He is the second coming of Iverson and will carry SJU on his back tonight as he always does.. I like SJU in SU victory 68-63

I'm storming,

Not so unthinkable before the Oklahoma game......cause CT was VERY inconsistent.............BUT .......they started to come together in half 2 of that game and have been improving ever since....
St Johns is good and has some BIG Ws ,,,vs Wake by 12 Miami by 11.........and BC away by 7...
If CT was playing their normal inconsistent ball I'd be all over the Storm........BUT the numbers ALL favor CT and they are FEELIN GOOD............gotta go with em for a dd W.
