Auckland $5.00 (+400) @ Canturbury $1.15 (-666)
Spread will be approx +/- 16.5

Otago $1.55 (-181) @ North Harbour $2.25 (+125)
Spread will be approx +/- 6.5

Anders any thoughts?

Sorry Whale; hadn't looked in here for a few days

I'm thinking - and Turtle too - that Harbour will be value for money as - yep, u guessed it - a home dog in the wet.

I know they have a few injuries so haven't pulled the trigger yet; will try and let u know if I do...

Thats my thinking also, been raining a fair bit already today in Auckland so one really have to fancy Harbours chances who have not lost at home in the wet for a while.

As with Canterbury, the most likely outcome is a spanking for the Auckland team, only hope really is if it is nailing down with rain which it isn't at the moment, so probably best to avoid.

Has just started pouring down in Hamilton and it's a northerly, so I presume it will be wet at Albany already - like it was last night.

Thought we might only get +2.5/+3.5 on the dogs so pleasantly surprised with +4.5 and at $1.90. I'm playing the dogs because - NPC home dog in the wet = $, like Botica's goalkicking over Brown (sometimes has off nights where he misses 3 or 4), Harbour's extra pace in their loose forward trio, their scrum should give them a solid enough background, Otago's away form so much different from their House of Pain efforts, Harbour's defence has been outstanding this season. Remember, this side beat Canterbury in the wet at Albany and we've seen lately what class the Cantabs have.

Nothing more than just one unit but definitely a play with value.

The ML price ($2.35) is also worth close inspection.
