Dogs winning the battle again! What a surprise!

One other thing to be wary of is the return of key players Anders, i.e. Cullen, from injuries and the AB's. Players like this are 10x better than the rest of the team and the entire team changes generally for the better.

One more stat to add to that list Anders, dogs ATS in the rain 6-0

The TAB have tightened up their hold somewhat to attract more action on some games. Going with 1.87 each way on some rugby/league games.

Whale - any thought on tonite's game?

Hard for me to cough up on the 'naki again and start my weekend with another Friday nite loser, but +7.5 pts at home in the rain? Surely they can't be that poor at the Bullring three weeks in a row? Can they?

It's a tough call, Taranaki have not exactly been stunning thus far, some terrible rugby last week vs Wellington (who admitadly were on fire due to Cullen). Then again Auckland are nothing to write home about, 10-6 in the wet last week vs. BOP, and failed to cover vs Southland the first week in the rain also. Be a brave man going against a home side in the wet giving up more than a try.

Money has come in for Taranaki, into 2.70 SU and 1.80 ATS +7.5. Not that line moves at the TAB tell one much...

Going with the home dog ATS (and will have 1/2 a unit on the SU win also, bit of value with nasty weather forecast tonight)

Cheers mate...

Been tossing this one up for a few hours and decided I've got to disregard what the 'naki have done to me.

A home dog in the wet and cold getting more than a try is value, plain and simple..

PLAY TARANAKI +7.5

More home dogs likely this weekend too given the poor weather, including the Boks

Figured it was time to do something with that money which has been sitting in my NZ Tab account for months.

Joining Anders and playing Northland @ $2.00

Are there any decent websites which have live score updates for the NPC ??

Harsh comments re Horowhenua Cartman, they at least are all Horowhenua players (no imports).I am sure that no other 3rd division team can say that!!
