3 plays at this stage:

Parra ?5.5 vs Melbourne
St G Illa ?5.5 vs Tigers
Canberra ?2.5 vs Souths

I will probably have a couple of "total" plays as well but still waiting for the lines to come out on these.

There has certainly been some big movements from the initial markets released at the start of the week. For the first time in ages I have been on the wrong end of these changes:

Parra ?5.5 vs Melbourne (now Parra -1.5)
St G Illa ?5.5 vs Tigers (now St G Illa -0.5)
Canberra ?2.5 vs Souths (now Canberra +0.5)

I am very surprised the lines have moved this much and naturally I now rate these plays even stronger than before.

I am still waiting for Centrebet to post their "total" lines as there is generally some good value to be found.

Thanks for the info Cartman. I wasn't aware that players involved in the State of Origin were not playing this weekend. The line moves are also interesting. It looks like punters are believing the missing players will have greater effect than the inital lines indicated.

Round 10 Plays
Canberra PK d Souths
St George PK d West Tigers
North Queensland PK d Penrith

Pumpkin,

Welcome to the forum.

I was really surprised that Scott Hill missed out on a NSW jumper and as you say this can only be a plus for Melbourne.

Round 10 results:

Warriors 34 Newcastle 12
Parramatta 22 Melbourne 20
Penrith 38 Nth Qld 8
St G Illa 33 Tigers 22
Souths 26 Canberra 20
Bulldogs 48 Sharks 22

Just an average weekend on the NRL with my posted plays ending up 3-3. Fortunately I held off backing Parramatta until later in the week (when they were $1.80 straight up) so ended up 4-2 but won?t include this for posting purposes.

Season to date: 25-17
