Thanks PAWA...........still waiting for beast2 to respond......but for those of you that care....made my first NRL plays.......bet a ton....ummm ok....well maybe not :rolleyes:

kickserv went with

Bulldogs -10.5
South Sydney +2.5
Hawthorn ML (AFL)
Essendon ML (AFL)

hey.........I know nothing......might as well make it a parlay........odds arn't bad actually.......$9.69 ....... :eek: would pay nice :)

by the way......in NRL.......how long does it last (80 minutes)??

and a "try" is worth six right? how many points if ya kick it through....3???

and are the Bulldogs and South Sydney the home teams :confused:

is home field huge in the NRL?? or does it mean very little??

just curious?? just trying to learn :)

Kick, I think both the dogs and souths are at home in those games. By the way, kicking it through the posts is worth 2 points in rugby league. Home ground is a small advantage for the most part. For teams like New Zealand it is quite a big advantage and yes, games go for 80 minutes. Feel free to ask any more questions mate.

Thanks for the info..............but my parlay is dead......Bulldogs got but kicked.........:mad:


oh well........guess I deserved it....was actually reading that St George Illawarra hates the Bulldogs.......I deserved to lose.....bad bet by me.......oh well :)

My recommendation is to load up big on the opposite way to what I have posted and you could be 10-4 at this point of the season.

After losing on Bulldogs and then on Souths by half a point I drop to a record of 4-10 (28%). I'd probably have a better record in NRL if I just flipped a coin on matches. Anyway, hopefully Newcastle can give me one win this weekend. If this continues much longer I have to take a break from NRL and rethink my betting strateguies on NRL.
