First the bad news
Week 2 picks: 0-3

What a bizarre weekend of football
After an opening week where every single away team wins, we experience a weekend when Wk 1 hotshots Sydney, Parramatta, Northern Eagles and St George/Illawarra get beaten at home by first rd no-hopers Newcastle, Sharks, Warriors and Tigers. Add in the Bulldogs winning away again and the only result that made any semblance of sense was the Broncos' just beating the spread at home v the Panthers
I said at the start of the season the NRL is possibly the toughest comp in the world to predict winners, and the 1st 2 rds are the biggest possible pointer in that direction.
Still, don't think that should sway me into thinking making a profit can't be done. I imagine the books will be really scratching their heads trying to set lines for Wk 3. I'll be doing the same with the view to getting back on track ASAP.
