NW over Cal

I have been lurking here for years, hope I can help a little on west coast plays.

I am a huge Cal fan, but even I cannot get behind them this week. The starting quarterback is a true freshman out of a small catholic school in Northern California (Div. III). Marin Catholic is in the same league as the school I coach golf at, and this league is not that powerful. NW will be too much for him out of the gate, and with Ohio State two weeks away it may not get any better soon.

Good stuff hope it gets us a winner,don't like laying points on the road in college ball but it seems like most would take the points,so today im laying them and playing NW as well!!!

Nice win. But that Cal QB is a lot better than I thought he'd be. Yes, he threw a couple of picks, but for a freshman, he's got a strong arm and a fair amount of poise. He will be very good in a year or two....

Not a bad idea. Kid looks good. There are a lot of amazingly good QB's out on the west coast.
