In the wake of everything that has happened in our
country, I know that many people want to help out in any
way they can. Donations can be made to the NYPD
Widows & Childrens Fund or to the FDNY Widows & Children's
Fund, and the addresses are below. Though both
agencies lost a startling number of officers Tuesday, this
has most likely dealt a devastating blow upon the fire
department's w/c fund alone; the FDNY is half the size
of NYPD and lost at least three times as many
officers. If you cannot send a donation, please keep the
victims and their families in your prayers.
