The Yankees are 4-1 in their last five games at Fenway Park and are 6-0 in their last six games versus the Red Sox overall. They?re also 5-1 in their last six road games, are 8-0 in their last eight games following a day off and are 9-3 in their last 12 games overall. On the other side, the Red Sox are 4-14 in their last 18 games as an underdog, are 1-5 in their last six games versus AL East rivals and are 1-6 in their last seven home games when facing an opponent with a winning record. N.Y. -122 /A.Rome

the New York Yankees are the favorites on the moneyline at -123 over the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night.

The Yankees will have their ace on the mound for this game as Gerrit Cole is set to make the start. Cole went 16-8 with a 3.23 ERA during the regular season, and he just picked up a win over Boston last week.

New York is expected to get a great start from Cole in this game, but the biggest question mark continues to be around this offense. The Yankees are hitting just .237 as a team, and they have to find a way to put some hits together.

Aaron Judge led the Yankees with 39 home runs and 98 RBIs during the regular season, and New York could use a big blast from their slugger in this game, but he is also going to need some support.

The Boston Red Sox hit .261 as a team this season, and they are going to have to find a way to outscore the Yankees in this one. New York has a big advantage when it comes to the pitching staff, but the Red Sox have some big bats in that lineup.

Rafael Devers led the Red Sox with 38 home runs and 113 RBIs this season, and he will need to deliver for his team. Xander Bogaerts sets the table with a .295 batting average, and the Red Sox need to put some early pressure on Cole.

Nathan Eovaldi is set to make this start for Boston, and he has gone 11-9 with a 3.75 ERA this season. Eovaldi was roughed up in his most recent start against the Yankees, and he has to keep the ball in the ballpark.

This continues to be one of the greatest rivalries in all of the sports, and that will add to the drama on Tuesday night. Playing at home will give the Red Sox a big advantage, especially since this game should come down to the wire.

Gerrit Cole is going to pitch well for the Yankees, but don?t be surprised to see the Boston pitching staff shut down New York as well. It might only take three or four runs to win this game, and it?s going to be won by the home team.

Bet the Boston Red Sox moneyline as they beat the New York Yankees to advance to the ALDS. Dunkell Index

The Yankees have won six straight games against the Red Sox. The Bronx Bombers swept Boston at Fenway Park the last weekend of September and also brought out the brooms at home in mid-August.

Gerrit Cole will make it seven in a row in a relatively low-scoring game on Tuesday. The Red Sox haven?t scored more than three runs against the Yankees in any of their last six games, and they won?t find it easy to beat New York?s ace.

These teams have met 16 times since June 6. The under has cashed in 12 of those games, and there were eight or less runs in 10 of those meetings. N.Y. 4-2 / UN 8.5 / J.Willis

New York has trailed after three innings in three of its last four games when playing as the favorite.
Boston has gone UNDER the run total in seven of its last eight games.
New York has covered the run line in five straight games when facing Boston.
The run total has gone UNDER in four of the last five games between both clubs.
Boston has won the first tinning in three of its last four home games when playing as the underdog.
New York has won 12 straight games when playing at night after winning at home the game prior.
New York has won five straight games when facing Boston.

Interesting...Pinny opened this line Yankees -112 knowing this:

9/24/2021 NY YANKEES 8 -110 15 2 0 9 0 COLE(R) W 6 3 5 3
BOSTON 3 +100 9 un Over 7 1 0 7 0 EOVALDI(R) L 2.7 7 7 2

Cole just beat Boston and Eovaldi in Boston 8-3 only 11 days ago yet this line opens up -112 and the previous game was -110? EVERYONE IS ON THE YANKEES everywhere and no JD Martinez. :popcorn2

Does anyone else notice that Cole's pitches are flat? He has no movement on his fastball. It's either a meatball or he throws that high rising fastball out of the zone. Where as Eovaldi's pitches are dancing. This is why Cole has been smacked around lately.
