NYY-TOR game cancelled bet - lame rule

Hey guys news to betting on baseball but I had my bet cancelled by 5D today and I understand it's in their rules but it makes no sense at all to me:

When betting on baseball totals or run-lines, the game must go 9 innings (8? if the home team is winning).

I had:
7/18/12 1:05pm MLB Baseball 918 New York Yankees Over 5? -115* vs Toronto Blue Jays (R Romero - L must Start H Kuroda - R must Start)

The Yankees got 6 runs by the 6th inning, this is so ridiculous, it's not like they can get runs taken away from them. They could have finished the game and lost 25-6 and I still would have won. So frustrating since I bet on a team total and it totally cashed.

Anyone else have this happen to them?

Yep. Your betting on that they get that many runs in a whole game. If you had a side it wouldnt have mattered. The risk you take betting on so called "prop" bets. Bummer....

Any kind of total gets cancelled if the game is final by rain...it's always been like that everywhere....tough break,sucks

any total bet on the game is cancelled. It can be a team total or a game total.

Rule has been around for a long time.

think of it from the stand point that if you had 5 runs and needed over 5.5 and it was cancelled after 5 innings and you lost....it's a pretty fair rule

thanks fellas, yeah I get it and rules and rules. Just hurts because it's not like I had the under where maybe I lose it in the final innings. This one was already a win just finish the game.

I am enjoying playing the baseball games while I wait for hockey to start and appreciate all your guys input and capping on the diamonds.

Wow... Kind of/maybe benefitted from the rule in the same nite. Had a 4team parlay with balt/kc and the cubs and over. Over was cancelled and got paid on the 3teamer... Unreal
