zito has been improving on his era, down to about 3.2 in his last 4 games, he is now facing a team which is particularly weak against left handers, although the record seems to indicate that zito will only go about 6 innings, so the bullpen will have to pick him up.
schilling is one of the premier pitchers in the league, but has been struggling a bit in his last four, sporting a 5.1 era. looks like he needs a 15 day rest.
so, until he gets that rest, and in the face of zito's improvement, and ariz facing a left hander, a +170 gives excellent value, in a game that looks more like a 130/120.
obviously, a lot of weight is put on the schilling name and the ariz home magic.
