Wease, they all do it. Bush had the Military investigate torture. Bush investigated to find out what with wrong in the aftermath of Kristina. I imagine the treasury dept will investigate what hapened to the bailout money. Don't pretend you never noticed these crooks investigating themselves before.

Wease, all I ever said about the guy is that he is not McCain. I liked what he was saying. But I hold it against him for voting for the bailout. I hold it against him for supporting the bailout. I think everyone believes that he or his staff talked to the gov. about the senate seat. In fact, I hope he did. That does not mean he offered the gov money or anything but just say something like "It would be good if so and so took my seat. You know we need a friend in the senate"
To lie about doing that is disturbing to me. There was no need to lie about it.

It actually makes a lot of sense for Obama to be involved in this. I mean, you just won the election to be the leader of the free world. Why wouldn't you line your pockets with some cash to head off to some vacation resort (where does he get the money to go to Hawaii) before you take office.

Thanks for the research and informed opinion gw and skulnik. We'll need free-thinkers like you until we get through these 4 years with Obama and his cronies

Bobby Blue Chip, are you saying that to clear up any controversy, you can send out your LAWYER and they can call an ALL CLEAR and that's the end of the story? I guess Obama will be heading to Hawaii alot.
