imo you're right on with clemson. clemson is a better team than they're given credit for currently, and i think it's apparent that this is an off year for florida state, by their standards. son might finally get the best of father this year.

Some thoughts from a Clemson fan.....I was looking forward to this game until FSU lost on Thursday night. National TV on prime time and having lost on the same prime time stage last Thursday. It worries me. Now, with that said, here are my takes:

CU offense--QB Willie Simmons is from Quincy Florida and this is his homecoming of sorts. FSU will try to put a lot of pressure on Willie and will leave the WR's with man coverage. CU's receivers are fast and 2 are tall (6'-4'') Jump balls may be on order.

CU defense--Totally different look, etc. from the past two years with a new DC (Lovett formery from Auburn). CU has played mostly zone with 4 linemen that have hurried QB's so far. Nick Eason (DT) is most likely out and Rix may have time to split the seams of the zone. This defense has had the quality of bend but don't break so I don't see FSU running away with this one. However as CU found out 2 years ago after a 99-yard TD pass from Weinke---the snowball runs down hill pretty fast with the home crowd in Tallahassee.

I may be a tiger--but I see CU keeping it within 2 TD's.......

Nick Eason (DT) is most likely out

I am also a Clemson fan, and this is the biggest problem I have with taking the Tigers. Eason is the keystone of the defense.

I'll lean with the Tigers for now.

WHAT BOTHERS ME HERE

WHAT BOTHERS ME HERE

What bothers me about Florida State is when early in The Louisville game their Quarterback RIX or whatever his name is got flushed out of the pocket on 3rd down......started running and took " THE HOOK SLIDE " a few yards short of the first down.

I was looking at that YELLOW line indicator and he took that hook slide. Right then i knew Florida State was in trouble with this guy.

That was total surrender by RIX.
