Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I read here:

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear an appeal from New Jersey that would legalize sports betting at casinos and racetracks in the Garden State. Depending on the outcome, the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act ? a 1992 federal ban on sports betting ? could become a thing of the past.

the article reports the U.S. Court of Appeals backs the ban, and sez 83% of cases from this court are reversed by US Supreme Court after they hear them - especially ones like this with no disagreements with lower courts, and cases like this which fits the majority court's beliefs on States rights vs Federal laws...

Many other states, such as Michigan, New York and South Carolina, have recently proposed legislation to allow sports betting, so this case could have far reaching effects across the land..
