ST. JOHN'S, ANTIGUA (March 4, 2004)-After a 15 month layoff, television's
most popular mob family returns Sunday when HBO premieres the fifth season
of The Sopranos. When viewers last saw the mafia's first family, turmoil hit
a high point with Tony and Carmela's separation, Uncle Junior surviving his
RICO trial, Christopher fresh out of rehab and Adriana acting as a FBI
informant. With fans of the mob drama anxiously waiting the forthcoming
season, BetWWTS.com today announced odds on the first Sopranos character to
be "whacked" or pass away during the upcoming season of the show.

A leading offshore gaming company for over 10 years, BetWWTS.com has
listed New York underboss Johnny Sack as the early favorite to be the first
character killed-off during the upcoming season at 3/1 odds (i.e., win $3
for every $1 bet). Little Carmine, next in line to control the New York
family now that his father has died, is listed as a close second at 7/2
odds. Meanwhile, Christopher's fianc?e turned FBI informant Adriana comes in
at 4/1 odds and new character Feech La Manna (played by Robert Loggia) is
also a candidate for early termination

"No other successful television program produces the suspense of The
Sopranos where main characters can be killed off at any time and fans
constantly speculate who'll be next," said Simon Noble, CEO of BetWWTS.com
"With the death of Carmine, control of the New York crew is up for grabs. As
a result a power struggle between Johnny Sack and Little Carmine will almost
certainly ensue, which is why we made them the favorites. If anyone gets
wise to Adriana's dealings with the Feds, she could easily be the next to
'sleep with the fishes'. Although he's a new character, it's rumored that
Feech will stir things up after his parole and get on Tony's bad side -
something both Ralph and Richie Aprile did and both of their fates were
quickly sealed."

Other members of The Sopranos who have a good chance to be the first to
get "whacked" or pass away during this season include: Uncle Junior, who
just survived the trial of his life, at 7/1; Tony's paroled cousin Tony
Blundetto (played by Steve Buscemi) at 8/1; longtime confidants Paulie
Walnuts (8/1) and Silvio (10/1); and Tony's therapist Dr. Melfi at 10/1.
BetWWTS.com has also created individual odds for the clean and sober
Christopher (15/1), newly married couple Janice and Bobby Bacala (both at
15/1) and Tony's good friend and restaurant owner Artie Bucco (18/1).
Characters that have very little chance of being killed off first this
season are all members of Tony's immediate family. His son AJ, daughter
Meadow and separated wife Carmela all come in at 30/1 odds while the longest
of the long shots to get whacked or pass away first is Tony Soprano himself,
currently listed at 60/1 odds.
Customers may also bet that none of the characters with individual odds
listed will be killed-off during the fifth season at 5/2 odds. For
