ST. JOHN'S, ANTIGUA (March 4, 2004)-After a 15 month layoff, television's
most popular mob family returns Sunday when HBO premieres the fifth season
of The Sopranos. When viewers last saw the mafia's first family, turmoil hit
a high point with Tony and Carmela's separation, Uncle Junior surviving his
RICO trial, Christopher fresh out of rehab and Adriana acting as a FBI
informant. With fans of the mob drama anxiously waiting the forthcoming
season, BetWWTS.com today announced odds on the first Sopranos character to
be "whacked" or pass away during the upcoming season of the show.

A leading offshore gaming company for over 10 years, BetWWTS.com has
listed New York underboss Johnny Sack as the early favorite to be the first
character killed-off during the upcoming season at 3/1 odds (i.e., win $3
for every $1 bet). Little Carmine, next in line to control the New York
family now that his father has died, is listed as a close second at 7/2
odds. Meanwhile, Christopher's fianc?e turned FBI informant Adriana comes in
at 4/1 odds and new character Feech La Manna (played by Robert Loggia) is
also a candidate for early termination

"No other successful television program produces the suspense of The
Sopranos where main characters can be killed off at any time and fans
constantly speculate who'll be next," said Simon Noble, CEO of BetWWTS.com
"With the death of Carmine, control of the New York crew is up for grabs. As
a result a power struggle between Johnny Sack and Little Carmine will almost
certainly ensue, which is why we made them the favorites. If anyone gets
wise to Adriana's dealings with the Feds, she could easily be the next to
'sleep with the fishes'. Although he's a new character, it's rumored that
Feech will stir things up after his parole and get on Tony's bad side -
something both Ralph and Richie Aprile did and both of their fates were
quickly sealed."

Other members of The Sopranos who have a good chance to be the first to
get "whacked" or pass away during this season include: Uncle Junior, who
just survived the trial of his life, at 7/1; Tony's paroled cousin Tony
Blundetto (played by Steve Buscemi) at 8/1; longtime confidants Paulie
Walnuts (8/1) and Silvio (10/1); and Tony's therapist Dr. Melfi at 10/1.
BetWWTS.com has also created individual odds for the clean and sober
Christopher (15/1), newly married couple Janice and Bobby Bacala (both at
15/1) and Tony's good friend and restaurant owner Artie Bucco (18/1).
Characters that have very little chance of being killed off first this
season are all members of Tony's immediate family. His son AJ, daughter
Meadow and separated wife Carmela all come in at 30/1 odds while the longest
of the long shots to get whacked or pass away first is Tony Soprano himself,
currently listed at 60/1 odds.
Customers may also bet that none of the characters with individual odds
listed will be killed-off during the fifth season at 5/2 odds. For

I've heard from a few sources that Adriana should be the favorite to get wacked. If anyone knows about this Kazaa and is able to download the episodes let us know. 4/1 would be a nice payday!

For what its worth..........I also have Kazzaa and looking into Imesh, not to past post, but simply as a fan of the series and anticipation in Costa Rica. CR doesn't get the series for months later. Imperioli went to school w/ and is good friends with a boxer friend of mine from Brewster, NY , but haven't spoke in over a year and Michael is tight lipped anyway.

This is dug up on some forum.
"Rat Pack." Episode 54, March 14

- Biggest development: Tony's cousin Tony Blundetto (Steve Buscemi) gets paroled from prison, and returns home to Tony's welcoming arms. The cousin, though, has plans on staying straight, which starts Tony questioning his own life path, and the people around him, all over again.

- Funniest scene: Carmela (Edie Falco) gathers a bunch of lady friends, including Tony's sister, Janice (Aida Turturro), and Christopher's wife, Adriana (Drea de Matteo), to sit in Tony's media room and watch the No. 1 movie on the American Film Institute's All-Time Top 100 list: "Citizen Kane." She feeds the videocassette into the VCR, and they all stare silently and uncomfortably as the giant letters "FBI" come up on the copyright warning preceding the film.

- Hint at things to come: When Tony Soprano pulls his cousin outside Satriale's and gets in his face, yelling at him about his joking tone when referring to Tony in front of the rest of the crew, the affable Tony B. neither blinks nor backs down. "You're crowding me," he tells Tony firmly.

- Another hint: Adriana, still meeting with her FBI contacts as a reluctant informant, is told by one of her handlers: "Nowhere but the FBI is the line clearer between the good guys and the bad guys. You're with the good guys now."

"Where's Johnny?" Episode 55, March 21

- Biggest development: Tony makes a big effort, without any help from therapy or Dr. Melfi, to reach out to some of those around him. He makes a forgiving and kind offer to Artie (John Ventmiglia), the former best buddy who has resented Tony for years and even reaches out to Uncle Junior. In one of the most poignant and vulnerable moments of the entire series, Tony quietly asks Uncle Junior, "Don't you love me?"

- Funniest scene: Uncle Junior, whose mind seems to be getting more and more confused, is startled when the TV is turned to "Curb Your Enthusiasm." It's funny enough that someone on "The Sopranos" is watching a show on HBO. It's even funnier that Uncle Junior is so thrown by his resemblance to the comedy show's star. "Why am I on there?" he asks.

- Hint at things to come: Paroled mobster Feech (Robert Loggia) turns positively feral twice - once when attacking a landscaper who's working the neighborhood he's claimed for his nephew, and again when Paulie (Tony Sirico) goes to Feech to get him to stop.

- Most ironic piece of advice: Tony tells Bobby (Steven R. Schirripa), who's now married to Tony's sister, Janice (Aida Turturro), "Marriage, or any partnership for that matter, is a give and a take."

"All Happy Families." Episode 56, March 28

- Biggest development: Someone gets whacked, basically issuing a declaration of mob war, and the crime families jockey for position.

- Funniest scene: Tony and Carmela's son, A.J. (Robert Iler), spends a night in a New York hotel with some wild friends. He wakes up face-down on the carpet - and his face, he quickly learns, has been Superglued to that very carpet.

- Hint at things to come: When Tony comes home to visit Carmela, she has a new hairstyle and a stronger attitude. She looks great, and is confident enough to ridicule Tony for his "flunky" friends. "They laugh at your stupid jokes," she says, and the offhand remark returns to haunt him - in slow motion.

- Another hint: Furio is long gone, but Carmela becomes flattered, and intrigued, by the intellectual stimulation of a concerned official at A.J.'s school. Robert Wegler (David Strathairn) meets her privately at a restaurant to discuss her son, and recommends she read "Madame Bovary."
