Really like Geoff Ogilvie to win at +700 - Pinny

Cashed in on the fact that Love III sucks already with Choi and Weir taking him out - made one of the worst plays that I've ever made on Tiger over Phil at -130 - and have pending matchups with Donald over Scott (pretty big) and Cink over Clarke

Will be back with some moving day matchups and hopefully a little reasoning on Ogilvie

3rd Round matchup:

Bjorn -130 over Funk

2 players moving in seemingly opposite directions - as course continues to dry Funk's long irons will be tougher shots to hold on the green - Love the Funkster but I think he's in for a tough day

Well, a double bogey on 16 almost cost Bjorn the match, but a great recovery with a birdie on 17 and a par on the ultra-tough 18th gets us a push

72 hole matchups still pending:

6 units Donald vs Scott
2 units Cink vs Clarke
2 units Ogilvy to win +700

Scored - 3 units Tiger vs Phil (loss)
3 units Weir vs Love III (win)
3 units Choi vs Love III (win)

Interesting to note that Pinny will let you buy off of your Ogilvy wager - last night the prop "Ogilvy will not win" was -630 - could squeeze a little profit there but I'll let it ride on the cool Aussie

Will be back in a bit with a few final round matchups - should be a great day for golf

And Happy Fathers Day to all of the Dads out there - it's a tough job and I commend all of those who take it seriously

Back in a bit.........

4th Round Plays:

Weir +130 vs Singh 2 units
Donald +105 vs Singh 2 units
Weir -110 vs Furyk 2 units
Ogilvy +150 vs Mick 2 units ...........all at BetCris

- Singh not finding the fairway this week and his putter has bailed him out time and again - give me 2 guys with games well suited to the Open who will find many more fairways if current form continues

- Really like Weir's game for the Open and I'll take him as well vs. Furyk, who I believe will begin to feel some lingering injury affects after battling Winged Foot all week long - the Open is a war of attrition and physical fitness is at a premium - hate fading supertough Furyk but I believe this is the right side here

- Also, as stated in previous post, I stil believe that Ogilvy will get it done today - really easy to sit there and say that Lefty is going to win this one going away - I say not so fast, he played an OUTSTANDING round of golf yesterday and I simply don't see another 69 from him today - if he does fire a 69 today I will bow down to him as the greatest golfer on the planet today, yes even ahead of Tiger, just don't see it happening - no one more poised and ready to pick up the slack than Ogilvy - didn't like his pouty string yesterday after layup at 12, but he came out of that with only a couple of bogies and otherwise looked in perfect control yesterday

As always - good luck all no matter which sides you choose - have a great day watching golf and hopefully winning some $$$$$

AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE - OY OY OY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the love guys - just wish I would have been able to get all of my picks up pre-tourney -

Tough way to pull in Ogilvy but he's not going to return the trophy and I'm not going to return the 1.4g - Feel pretty sick for Monty but I just had a feeling that Phil wouldn't be able to get it done and it's hard to feel bad for him IMO - he got a ton of breaks all day long while he got nice lies out of the rough time and again - that is not supposed to happen in this tourney and he should have been out of this one somewhere on the front 9 - could have lived with a playoff today involving Monty but what can you say? He choked and had a terrible brain cramp at the exact wrong moment

Good luck to all in the near future and I'll see you back here in a month for The Open Championship - LA Burns
