Going to a premier movie at the Bullock Museum downtown Over 500,000 people are visitors to Austin this weekend for SXSW . Traffic downtown is packed My daughters best friend works for Fox or 20th Century She gave my 2 tickets to the premier and meet the directors actors etc and a buffet meal after the movie . The movie is " The Civil War " but its not about the North vs South but the future.. Anyway no time to explain these picks

North Texas -5.5 over Tulane ***
Mean Green over Green Wave N T defesne one of the best vs Tulane who avgs over 80 pts a game Defense wins tonite

Marist -1.5 over Niagara **
Battle of NJ Rider +1 over Peter **
UTA -3 over SFA **
Wash St -8 over Stanford **
Nev -3 over Col St **
Tex AM -5 over Miss **

Way to many games ,way to many fav's . Think I'm 2-12 backing Rider But Just maybe their coach can just let his players play .. Gotta run I have never been to a premier movie with all the actors and directors there. I will peek at my phone and see the scores of tonights game Good luck

wow what a premier badbone It was the " Civil War I max screening . A heavy movie with a lot of violence. Hard movie to explain but about the US in a civil war with states fighting each other. Really about war photo correspondents covering the war. Not sure who is on what sides but one side attacks the White House to kill the President. After the movie an Austin movie critic asks the actors and directors questions about the movie theme and actors on there to answer the filming of the movie The movie is an A24 studio. After the answer and questions everyone goes into a room for drinks and dinner. Excuse me Only those that have screening passes get to eat and drink with the cast and directors . The movie opens to theaters on April 24th It was a very good movie and enjoyed it A little to much graphic violence but scenes and attack on Wash DC and the White House were unreal .. its a movie to pay tribute to war journalism.I'm asking to myself to explain why they are fighting but the director explains thats not the point of the movie Kristin Dunst the actress and star although looks different in the movie is beautiful and stunning close up . It was a great experience to see a film premier and I think this movie could be a blockbuster when it gets released on April 24th But I peeked at my phone and updated the basketball scores and saw North Texas was beating Tulane and covering. That made the movie even better ..
