I'm all for patronizing the books that are Mad Jack sponsors, but I also think we should share the good . . . and the bad . . . for the benefit of all.
I started doing business with
www.OptionSports.com a few months ago because they have 5 cent baseball action. I have had no problems to report and enjoy the opportunity to play against that small of a line. I have been making money with them as well which makes me like them even more.
A very reputable book I have stopped playing with, but follow their numbers very closely is
www.planetpinnacle.com or Pinnacle Sports which offers 8 cent action. Their numbers are unbeatable. . . at least for me. What I have started doing is checking their numbers when I am ready to make a play and if they have the best numbers I write down the play and book it myself. I have stopped turning in anything to them because if their number is better than everyone else it is probably a loser. Happened just last night. I liked the Houston Astros. Pinnacle had the price on the Astros three cents cheaper than anyone else. I saved myself over 400 dollars on that game by booking it myself (simply not playing it) instead of giving it to Pinnacle. They are a great place to do business, but hard as hell to beat.
www.Sportbet.com . . . is a sponsor here . . . and they are a great book for all sports and have ten cent baseball action up to -200. I do a lot of business with them.
Other than checking the Pinnacle Sports numbers I try to stick with books that are on Don Best's DBS2k so I don't have to go to each site to know the numbers.
If you are a serious enough player to spring for $500 a month for the Don Best Premium service you can get realtime numbers at over 20 books including not only the offshore giants, but Leroy's, Hilton, Stardust, Mirage, Horseshoe and others.
When football gets here and we get back to betting on spreads several of the books that sponsor this forum are very good. I like CRIS and you did good in signing up with them for football but, they will seldom be competitive in baseball with their twenty cent lines when 5 cent action is available . . . or Olympic either. I can't believe these excellent stores still deal baseball on a twenty cent line in today's competitive marketplace.
