A late New York rally, but Percy closes it out!!! :toast:

I posted this at the beginning of the series:

"I've watched a lot of Angels games this year, and IMO they are what the Yanks used to be. Most notably, better pitching (lower ERA & OBA), team speed, contact hitting. NY is slugging it out this yr and do not resemble the NL-style squad we've all been accustomed to."

These Halos have been absolutely on fire since a disastrous start to the season which saw them lose 14 of their first 20 games. Never bet against the Yankees?....eh, I don't think so. The Yanks got beat by a BETTER team.

Make no mistake about it. The Angels are peaking at the right time. They have THE hottest offense in the postseason thus far. They are #1 in the following categories:

batting average
slugging percentage
home runs
runs scored
total bases

And oh yeah, they have the friggin' Rally Monkey! CONGRATS TO ALL THOSE WHO HAD FAITH IN THE ANGELS.:D

ANGELS WITH DIRTY FACES

ANGELS WITH DIRTY FACES

I bet the Yankees in the series..but i bet them very small.. as i posted The Angels were a hungry team.

I was at Wednesday Nite Game and let me tell you... When Garret Anderson hit that home run to tie the game, you could hear a pin drop in Yankee Stadium.....It was the most eerie feeling i 've had in sports in a long time. then rite after that Troy Glaus smashes a BOMB over the Center field wall. Well the silence was deafening.
Then Percy drilled Soriano. I said to my girl, These are Angels with Dirty Faces. They don't quit.. It's scary. Real scary.

Did Percy send a message ... was the drilling intentional..who knows... But Soriano won't be showboatin' waving his fist the next time he rounds the bags after hitting a home run..

It's refreshing to have a new team emerge.
Congrats to all Angel backers.

Yeah RedKing LOL ..way to go..

Yeah RedKing LOL ..way to go..

I forgot to mention, although i bet the Yankees small in the series, i did bet the Angels Wednesday Nite , the game i was at. LOL
I had to hedge back.
I have to admit The Angels did me out of a couple of bucks overall.

Ya know.. somehow i don't think the Angels are going to come in as a huge dawg anymore.
