This is indeed a strange game. Seems like TTech is the knee-jerk, pick, so I'm gonna go the other way. Both teams appear overrated, but I think OSU wins out on talent and defense. They SHOULD produce a good amount of turnovers against that spread attack. Having great safeties won't hurt.

The Buckeyes are going after a 24th straight home-opening win. The OL scares me, but I still have a feeling they win by double digits, call it 34-20.

Not the strongest play ever, but I'll go with
Ohio St. -6 for one unit

Record: 2-0, + 1.8 unit

Adding N.Mex. + 13.5, One Unit

Good value here. N.C. State is a shell (personnel wise) of what it was excpected to be. Rivers is good but he can't do it alone.

Adding two more

Adding two more

Iowa State +22.5, one unit

Wallace and solid WRs should have some success against unproven DB's. FSU may empasize the run more than usual against small (230 lb) D ends from ISU (also, ISU returns three starting DBs), slowing the scoring tempo a bit.

ISU should have a good fan base at the game. FSU started slow last year against Duke, may not happen again, but too many points not to take here. Looking forward to seeing what Wallace has got to offer, as someone mentioned earlier, theyve been going all out tryinjg to hype him for the Heisman.

Nebraska -22, one unit

Blackshirts out to prove a point after end of last year. Looks like a physical mismatch. They have started slowly against sub-par teams (TCU ;last year) but I like the rushing attack against the 4-2-5 'D' and ASU comes in with a frightfully young offense.

Both lines moved to 23 by the time I got 'em, one in my favor, the other against me.

Too bad I was scared to go big on any of them. Still too early. Looking at VTech game, back later...

Good job Jeff I stayed away from NEB I remember the slow start in 2000 vs Notre Dame getting + 14 ( I think that was the line). The Fighting Irish kept it close in an OT game. Could look but don't remember the score but I think NEB won by 3.
