Have been looking at the NIT games for tonight, and 2 games seem to look good to all of us....which is why I'm off of both.
Richmond -2 now? I've been on a couple of consensus sights, and Providence is a favorite choice....yet the line is moving in Richmonds direction? With the opposite directions these teams have been playing, seems too good to be getting +2, I'll pass.
Ohio St. +8? Another popular choice. Ohio St. is in a short turn around here having played probably a little above their heads in the big ten tourney 3 days ago. Ga Tech has shown more than capable of playing good ball at home....couple that with the fact that Ohio St. has suspended 6'7" junior forward Zach Williams for conduct during the big ten tourney, and Ohio St. loses a little of their inside power. Williams averaged 5.1 rebounds per game, 9.8 points per game, and 1.3 assists per game. Another game I'll pass on.
I'm not a big believer in "traps" but I do believe that sometimes lines look funny and I'd rather miss out on a winner than kick myself in the a$$ watching a game I knew looked too good lose.
Good luck to all on Providence and Ohio St., just because it looks too good doesn't mean it is.....just means I'll pass.
