The Loss, Ryan Day's such a genius, anyways this really screws up the CFP and hurt Oregon a tad, so Oregon needs to pummel the Huskies, the loss by the Buckeyes opens up South Carolina, BYU, Bama all moving up and if Miami loses to Sillycuse, the CFP committee will be really lost who the final 12 will be.

So much money on Oregon yet the line dropped almost 2 pts the last 3 days. Gabriel getting no Heisman talk, yet he's had a great year and may even set a passing yards record for the Ducks this season!!

Thoughts on CFP?

I was thinking of taking Oregon. Needing a
Big win plus losing twice to Wash last yr
Has me tempted. But it's alot of points so
Not sure.

Tennessee is going to move up as is South Carolina in the CFP. Alabama needs to blow out Auburn and win significantly at home today for any shot at CFP.

How does it screw up the CFP? Ohio st. is still definitely in. They have nailbiter losses at #1 and to their rival with wins over #4 and #5. I dont think it moves the needle at all for the CFP. Oregon is in no matter what happens.

Ducks would be with Penn St in BIG0 Championship correct? Ohio State loses at home to Michigan and barely beat Nebraska at home so committee will look hard at that, Penn State could be ranked higher than Ohio State so long as P St wins vs Maryland. Ohio State should get into the CFP, they have 2 losses now and all the experts have been saying no 3 loss team will make it in? We'll see.

There is no way they are not in. What teams from other conferences would make it over them. You think Tennessee has a better resume?

Ducks are in no matter what happens in the last two games. If both teams playing in conference title game are already in the result of an extra game wont be a penalty.

I'm not saying Ohio State won't be in the CFP, highest I can see them would be at 6 and lowest at 8, with a strong possibility they play Tenn or Georgia or even Texas, depending what happens in SEC Championship, how Penn State does today as well as ND, Oregon most likely will still be #1 overall unless they lay an egg, no pun intendoed vs the Huskies tonight. SMU is going to be in the BIG12 championship and if they win that, they only have 1 loss and they'll get in top 4, pushing Ohio State most likely to an 8 seed. We'll see on Monday and the following week on rankings and committee stuff.

For sure it makes for a terrible 1st round opponent for someone else.

The annoying thing is that because of this format Boise will probalby get a bye, which is stupid.

With 12 teams there are bound to be some fringey ones at the bottom that have several losses.

Yeah, only thing this game did is get us more favorable odds in Ohio State’s playoff game. Should they have handled Michigan today at home? Sure, but it wasn’t a must win game for tOSU

100% agreed!!

Now on social media, they're calling for Ryan Day's to be fired!! And Bama has some type of haters out there, if Bama takes care of business today and they should, they'll have 9 wins, that is the most wins for a first year head coach in many years!! Longer than many of the posters have been alive here at MJ. LOL

I'm sure after the final CFP rankings come out, someone on the outside will raise a fuss, it never fails. What should have been done is just winning when you were supposed to, LOL! Clemson goes for FG range to tie up S Carolina and gets a pass intercepted, now that's Dabo's fault? WOW. Amazing the talking heads that are out there now and misfit fans.

They possibly just gave themselves a bye week, conference championships either need to go away or be an elimination type game included as a playoff game
No real bye week tho cause now they are guaranteed an extra playoff game and its probably not a great matchup and likely on road.

I think Ryan Day has coached his last game at OSU!
I highly doubt they make the playoffs. Indiana and Penn State are in!
This was the game he had to win!!
They failed........... Chip Kelly, the next coach??

It can't be Demented Urbana Meyer????
He'll Dance a the club, right?
