Pat Perez(125/1) e.w. was surely a great pick last week, but hard to take any credit for great tipping when the play was posted 7 minutes before the off.
I was an avid viewer of the weekend golf in Las Vegas the week before, when Lucas Glover spent two days on the lead and playing some strong golf that I really thought might get him across the finish line . . . Pat Perez made frequent appearances during the Las Vegas coverage on his way to a Top Ten finish. Everything I heard mentioned during the coverage ?more than suggested? that Perez was ?in a really, really good place? with his life and with his game, validated the whole time with some impeccable play and demeanor. My decision that Perez would be carrying my cash in his next event was almost immediate, and then repeatedly reinforced before the Las Vegas event concluded, and I knew I would have more than just a vague hope he would do good things.
I just wish I had taken the time to single Perez out for some singular tipping. Unfortunately, in typical late season fashion, I barely managed to be awake in time to get my laundry list of plays posted.
I guess I?ll add that I really didn?t get a chance to watch much of the coverage last weekend when Perez came through the way I was hoping Glover would come through during the prior week, so I can?t say I feel like I gained any significant INFORMATION or ANGLES to carry into this week, maybe just a few nuggets and impressions that build on two weeks now of paying attention.
