I still see fellow cappers fading a very simple and profitable system. . . an example of which was yesterday's Illinois/Ohio State matchup.

For those new to the forum or those who somehow missed the identification of this system that I made about a month ago and others have made on this forum in the past, here it is once again:

Play an unranked home favorite over a ranked away dog.

Rational once again:

Vegas simply knows more than those who vote for the public polls which makes sense. If they set an unranked team as a favorite over a ranked team, then there is a reason for it as Vegas would not hand out a gift to a ranked team!

So far this season, the system has been incredible. . . I do not have actual numbers, but know that it has been a very high winner (probably around 75%, maybe even higher).

For Wednesday, there are three games that fit this system:

Notre Dame over Pitt
South Carolina over Georgia
NC State over Wake Forest

All three games are very suspicious as the home teams are laying three points to what appears to be VERY capable dogs. I submit that these three games are EVEN stronger plays than Ohio State over Illinois on Tuesday because of the home teams being announced as very clear favorites by Vegas. . . Ohio State was only a one point favorite which was not very solid. Three points (at least these are the lines on Alladin's Gold) is a significant statement by the lines makers that the home teams should be favored as Vegas would be careful to avoid issuing gifts as it would appear that three points to a ranked team over an unranked team would be. . .

In the end, DO NOT fade the home teams in these matchups! :nono:

Good luck to all. . .

Just checked into the opening lines and found that NC State actually begun at laying 4 points and South Carolina laying 3.5 yet both games have been bet down to 3. Obviously the points where just too tempting to avoid for some which is good for us!

Suggestion:

Except for perhaps Notre Dame (as it is unclear how this line is moving if there is any movement), I would wait to play these games until around 4:30 pm mountain standard time which is usually enough time before the steam plays come in. . . give the public enough time to play the ranked teams and decrease the amount of points that have to be layed by the home teams.

I hit Georgetown and Ohio St.

I remember reading this a while back and I started monitoring it myself and now these are the only college plays I really bet on. I am more of an Nba guy till baseball starts. I really appreciate the info that goes around this website.

The funny thing is a year ago these were the games I am biting on. I am barely 22 and learning fast.

I'm kinda slow, but I could follow what you're saying. A nice trend with solid logic behind it. 2 0f 3 will work every time. I'm glad I played those. I personally haven't gotten much right for a couple of weeks. From everyone who was paying attention, thanks.
