Ok St -4 over North Texas **

Ok St under 62.5 pts **
NT 7'0 center Abou Ousame is questionable due to family problems and OK St's Anderson their top gd is also Questionable with a wrist injury. NT leads the nation in defense but that really doesn't mean they are the best defensive team They play at a slower pace and use the clock. But they have held teams to their seasons low, UAB FAU La Tech Charllotte were held to 46,53 etc FAU and UAB the top offensives in the conf were held to 63 and 66. NT plays great defense and slows the pace on offense. This team held WKY to 33 pts. McFarland the head coach who is now the highest paid non power 5 coach in the country is rumored again to be going to Tex Tech I hate playing over and unders. I'm not good at them This game has under written all over since Ok St plays solid defense. Ok sts Thompson hit 6 3's the other day vs East Wash but NT's Jones hit just as many vs Sam Houston. If you are a ATS person then Ok St is 1-5 in its last 6 home games. 2-7-1 in last 10 overall games Meanwhile NT is opposite 9-2 ats in last 11 games. NT has the best player in the gym in Perry who is the pt gd shoots 3's penetrates and can pass it. Both teams play good defense and both play at a slower pace. There fore the under looks good But the under is so low at 121. Because of the two questionable players tonight its hard to handicap OK is at home but they aren't covering at home. OK St plays a tougher schedule in the B-12 compared to NT;s Conf USA The game will be televised and I can;t sit and watch and cheer and bet on my North Texas Mean Green
So at mid-stream I am changing my play
North Texas +4 and forget the under I cannot watch a game when I have the under. Maybe keep the Ok St under scoring . Don't mean to confuse anybody but sometimes the " homer" in me comes out. If I was coaching OK st Perry would be covered because he is the only NT player that can create on his own But Mcfarland is one of the best coaches in the country and a few years back when he was coaching vs Tex St I sat right behind him He was the Ark St or Ark LR coach One of his bigs didn't box out and was beaten inside. Grant took him out and cursed at him pointing his finger up at a 6;11 kids telling him " if you can't box out sit down . The player acknowledge his mistake and quietly sat down I sat there and said wow That is a coach who has total control That summer I was in NY when I heard North Texas fired there coach and Grant McFarland was named NT's new coach I just smiled to myself and said wow. This team will play some real defense.

Go mean green Think down deep Ok St has Cisse in the middle some big fds that could give the Mean Green problems Double Perry and Ok st at home could win by 10 pts But NT went dancing last yr at the senior Prom and there is no way I'm watching this game and not cheering. Took a flight back from Philly to dallas to Austin Its good to be home Am I calling Austin my home I guess after 4 or 5 years away from NY its my home Go Mean green tonite
