This game tonight is going to be a good one, but the first thing that sticks out at me is the public lean, I have made some serious money going against the public in bowl games this year and so with the public bumping up the line to TB -2.5 as of this post my first instinct would be to go with the ravens.
But wait even the swami knows the bucs play good ball in December at the new place as they are 10-0, and the trends keep coming...
The bucs are 6-0 ats and su in back-to-back home games, (4-0 when they are off a win)
When they are a favorite and the line is less than 35 they are 7-2 su, and 6-3 ats
When they have won a game su and ats they are also an impressive 8-2 su, and 7-2-1 ats...
but with the exception of this trend...
The ravens are only 1-3 both su and ats in the last home game
the ravens play well as underdogs on the road, but let's put trends aside and look at the big picture...
both of these teams need this win, both of these teams look to come out here and play well especially on prime time.
So do Ilike tampa in the game, kind of...but I do like Tampa in the first half....
The ravens this year on the road average 5 points agame in the first half while giving up six, while the Bucs average (at home) 14 while giving up just four. Throw in all the excitement of playoff atmosphere at home againat a good team, and the bucs will look to get off to a good start.
So this is what I came up with...
Bucs -1 f/h
Something Different, and it may actually set up for a Baltimore second half play, especially in the third quarter
