Hudson Valley area.....NY
Oklahoma -6 over North Texas ******
Think this line will go up during the day...North Texas had lost 3 or 4 in a row..then beat UTA the other day. Smart their best player was reinstated in last game and had 3 points..But he is back after a disappointing yr last yr only avgs 10 pts.. the year before he avg 19 pts...I think he has the talent to be one of the best players in Conf USA.. NT lost Woolridge there pt gd who now starts for Gonzaga..huge loss... 6'10 Simmons can rebound and block shots...Gibson has become their top scorer and juco Hamlet and Reese can score...Geu is a 6'8 transfer that can rebound and score...McCasland is a good coach that teaches defense and rebounding..something North Texas hasn't done in 20 years...Draper can shoot but needs to be wide open...they have some talent around them and if Smart gets his act together think they will make some noise in the conf...but not enough noise tonite.. its a rare home game for North Texas playing someone from a B-12 conf... OU and Lon Kruger come to Denton tonite with 3 starters back from last yr..but they lost James who either scored or had the ball in his possession about 85% of the time..but OU has 6'9 Manek who can score inside or out..they have Bieiemy one of the top gds in the conf and 4 star recruit super frosh Harmon who went to Denton HS and is returning to his hometown in an OU uniform. He will get a big crowd cheering for thier hometown hero.Doolittle is a 6'7 and can score.. they have Garang and Hill both around 6'6 and the shooter and transfer from Wichita St Reaves. He has long distance range and I-35 is only a few blocks from the Super Pit and think Reaves could hit a few 3's from the highway..also the Super Pit is not a great home court advantage...the seats are to far from the court. I'm sure Oklahoma will have a big crowd but home court advantage will only help a little...Nt has trouble scoring and OU is avg almost 80 pts a game,,NT defense will have trouble in the paint but more trouble with OU's gds that are quicker, more athletic and can shoot..

last night Texas St played tough and it was a 4-5 pt game in the last 3 minutes..I have under estimated the Bobcats again..UConn had no problem with Iona...
