It sounds like more and more folks are seeing Old John as 3rd Liberial running. That we don't have a true Conservative to vote for. Also why is John not relesing his medical records? A guy this old we have right to know for sure if we ask 45 year old's to give them up.

and this comes as a surprise???

i wouldnt call him a liberal when compared to obismal or rhodam but he sure as hell isnt a conservative republican or any where near a libertarian.

hence the problem with politics today, all these candidates are becoming waaaay to alike in the name of bi-partisianship.

give me stark polarity and a choice, a true left wing change the world liberal like carter or mondale vs a true conservative like regan!

Seems to me that 'OL John was pretty liberal on many things, but the NEW John has been reforming (at least) his rhetoric on many issues to appeal to the people who want a republican to win the election. Plenty of individuals and groups who had previously railed on him are starting to fall in line as the lesser of evils in their minds. Funny how for both McCain and his new backers, their morals and standards can be compromised for the sake of winning.

Not unexpected, I think many expected this when he won the nomination.
