We used to go every year for a while. If you're looking for cheap eats or lunch.......
Tami Lynn's Rest, nothing fancy here.
Pier French Fries for a snack.
The Shack for lunch.
We used to look for the small take out joints near the water, they always had the best seafood. I don't enen know if it's there any more but the Poop Shack was one of my favorites for seafood.
OOB will be packed this week, weather is supposed to be awesome use plenty of sun screen in or around the water.....Miles of beach, attractions & shops.....
As far as Loster Rolls goes, they are all over the place you'll pay more at a resturant than at a takeout stand....Most places offer a choice mayo or drawn butter, regular or toasted rolls.....Personally butter on a toasted roll is DA-BOMB.....You should be able to get a good size roll, drink, chips for around $16-$18....Some places gouge you for upper 20's.....
Just remember lobster is very rich to eat, don't let your eyes be bigger than your appetite....Blueberries are just coming out, grab a slice of fresh pie.....Strawberries & Rhubarb did well this year, makes for a great slice of pie as well.....
Many nice beach areas/light houses within a 20 min drive each way along Rt 1.....If you get to Kennebunk check out Federal Jacks, nice brew pub right on the water, their (Shipyard) Summer Ale is awesome.....
Enjoy Maine, shoot me a message if you have any other question...?.:toast:
