Half of the top soil will be used to fill settlement of a large area we installed an engineered septic system that needed to settle before we added soil. Damn system was not cheap and I did not want machinery on it until the ground settled........ Thanks OS

I have a farmer right up the street who delivers both dirt cheap:0corn
Prices vary by your location
The HOA here will only let you go 20 yards around the house with sod, I have beautiful Kentucky blue grass. The rest of the property HOA wants native seed only.........fucking liberals

about a quarter of an acre, I have 2.5 acres

Material is alot cheaper here than by you. I yield to Old School to give you a better idea for costs. My opinion you should be able to do the whole thing way less than a grand:0008

needing 30 yards..I tell Mark's Dad I got $900.00 CASH TO INCLUDED DELIV...

and he says CASH IS KING........

if you wish to plant a new Kentucky bluegrass lawn, the seeding rate is 2 to 3 pounds of seed per 1,000 square feet.

11,00 square feet appox in quarter acre ..so a big bag 50-60 LB seed ..you want some left over to spot seed

after it pops..OVERSEED.......

fert ratio will be on the bag...........standard bag of Scotts starter fert will do.

hand spreader is all you need for quarter acre if you don't already have one or all the other "Stuff"

drop spreader for seed if you have one would be easier but not a must.

Native seed I will leave to the Natives..

you can rent a Bobcat ...

or some locals

ask the Dump truck driver for a couple cases of beer to spread as be dumps if the site is ready.

seed & fert $100.00 on up depending on seed.
soil $900.00
2 helpers.....BobCat

and why can't you use fill dirt and then top soil?
