their opportunity to advance in this year's tournament. I know this is hard for a few to swallow, but this is a TOTALLY different team on the road. Although they've been invincible at "The Pad at Tad", they've been atrocious on the road this year. If you've happened to watch this team @ home & on the road, you'd swear they consisted of different players.
Rebs have fallen on the road to: Ky, TN, GA, AL, Auburn, State, and LSU. At home, they've lost to Bowling Green and George Mason. They also squeaked out wins against K-State & Memphis. "I think UCLA is a team that, if they play well, can beat anybody in the country," Ole Miss head coach Rod Barnes said.
Bruins have road wins against Wash, W-St, Zona-St, Oregon-St, Stanford, and Alabama. Few impressive home wins vs. Kansas, USC, and Zona. Biggest thing going against the Bruins are their unpredictability. However, by all accts, it appears Lavin has they boys extremely focused and I wouldn't be surprised to see this team advance deep into the tournament. They certainly possess more talent than the Rebels and have the horses to get a "w" against ANYONE in the country. Perhaps a DD "W" in their 1st gm. of the tourney.
ONLY fly in the ointment is that they are the lone remaining team in my 3 game parlay(Stanford & Creighton), and I haven't hit one of those in many many moons.
