Outright plays (1.5 units):
Paul Casey to win 12/1 e.w. @ BlueSq
Retained as a selection after his 3rd place finish last week and he can still play a lot better. As stated last week, apart from the British Open, his worst finish in Europe this season has been 13th and he has won twice already in 2003. Finished in the top-10 last year and should again finish ahead of Els to be a strong contender.
Trevor Immelman to win 22/1 e.w. @ Bet365
Course experience is very important given the altitude and comes little better than a runners-up finish last year. He has failed to repeat his January form when he won twice and finished 2nd twice in a four-event stretch, but there is evidence of a significant improvement in recent weeks with 9th place in the NEC Invitational and 11th place in the BMW International Open last week. A very talented player who has threatened to win on European soil for a number of years and look set to threaten once again.
Peter Hedblom to win 40/1 e.w. @ Victor Chandler and UKBetting
It was easy to miss his two top-5 finishes in three events in March/April, but his latest burst of form is in much bigger events: 2nd, 8th, 16th and 3rd in his last four starts is very impressive. He has played at Crans-sur-Sierre in the past, so will have some ideas of the altitude problem, but in his current form he must believe he can compete with anyone in Europe. This is a large price for someone in the middle of a purple patch.
