audiobooks, actually

Harry G. Frankfurt's 'On Bullshit' is actually a very good
philosophy/comedy schpeel. I assume it is in book form (for the 1% of us who still read) but I actually came across the audiobook about x years ago. Was worthwhile, quite funny, reasonably short and decently philosophical, as long as you're not a fan of Hegel or those who might similarily deconstruct the nature of wagering on lawn bowling.

Aaron James 'Assholes-A Theory' was tolerable, though a bit too long and not nearly as enjoyable, despite the mention that it was in the vain (sic purposefully) of the former. Has its moments, but it has a long digression into something he calls Asshole Capitalism (not a critique of Capitalism but something kinda transcending abstruse that I might need to partake of more times than my lifespan might allow to fully appreciate) that, to me, outstayed its welcome. He does attack some moderately neato assholes but he really doesn't develop (unless I missed it) his attack on Hugo Chavez and, with his recent Easter Bunny congruence, I would have been curious to hear some more in this regard, though the typical mainstream adhereations (Mr. Blair did it, so fuck off (the Orwellian one, not the British Jupiteroplicrat)) appears to be something that wanna-be-published-authors apply even if they pertain to the outside scavengings of alternativism.

If you get my meaning.

Barring that

Barring that

Close, but that's not why
