hardly ever venture outside of the POD thread, but feel pretty good about one tonight. Taking KENTUCKY -9.5 for 5 units tonight.
As a Mississippi State fan, I see firsthand that this team has the wheels coming off. Guard play is poor, even with Frazier coming back. His mobility was limited Wednesday. Roberts is great but when he gets doubleteamed, MSU has no answer on offense. Where STate has been getting beat is from outside shooting and I see Kentucky hurting them bad. MSU has never played well in Rupp and with a team that has far more questions that answers this week, I don't see Rupp being the place to sort out those problems. Stansbury has never impressed anyone with his ability to coach or motivate, so I don't put much stock into he will have them ready. If MSU covers, it will be because of Kentucky missing shots and poor execution. Just my thoughts.
