thanks for your opinion, I was looking at this game too.
I know you lost some $$$ but why don't you just open an offshore account for $100 and limit yourself to one $10 play per night? I'll probably get some flak from someone for suggesting this but that's what I would recommend. I mean you don't seem to have the same issues as hello there but if I remember correctly you just hit a streak of bad luck that wiped you out.

a progressive betting strategy.
1. 10 = 10
2. 10 = 20
3. 15 = 35
4. 30 = 65
5. 55 = 120
6. 100 = 220
7. 200 = 420

i have offered that advice on this site in the past and belive we all need reminders from time to time that it's okay to play one game per day.
another note of caution to some newer guys here. yes, there are some excellent handicappers here at mj's. however, don't believe everything you read. talk is cheap, and buyer beware...... just because a guy throws out 15 games per day and says he uses so much money per game ain't always the truth. he may in fact be only playing one or two for 50 bucks per shot.

You know what....Iam sitting here in the computer lab all alone and waiting to go workout, and I was thinking that you guys have an EXCELLENT point. I have always made a good effort to build a small amount into something real big. I think Iam gonna open an offshore with playersonly and deposit about 100 bucks. I can easily afford to deposit that. This is excellent...why in the hell did I not think of this before

good luck, there are also some reputable books offering $50 dollar bonuses on only a $50 deposit, so basically they will match 50 bucks...nothing wrong with picking winners and watching the toal grow over a period of time!!

I bet largely straigt waggers. I have a capital from it I bet, obviously 2.5 - 5% of it, BUT NEVER EVER MORE :nono:
If I win a bet, my capital increases, if I lose a bet, my capital goes down. Thus, my next wagger is higher or lower. For example, two month ago I opened account at WillHill, I have started with 200$, I have bet about 200 waggers and today I gained 1800$. It should be seem for anybody as little profit, but I am very satisfied because I began bet on american sports before two months.

One of the things that I have learned is its hard to have success night in night out if you just "wing it"....alot of us do other things besides this little wagering venture ...so when I get busy and can't do my homework...i'll play three or four 10$ flats ( hoping that guys like Raymond, kcwolf,Buddy,fletcher, Hoops,loophole, and the other good cappers) are on some of the same games i like..now, if I do get some free time
i'll wager more games...but I prefer to just keep
it simple and stay w/ 10$ flats..that way I can play 80% of the winter and never really have that many ups and downs...wagering basketball is different (IMO) than playing blackjack...blackjack is a "raw" mathematical/probabilities numbers game...so when your betting cards its alot of simply being able to pound out the math odds and get a betting "system" that you feel compfortable w/...(maybe like Buddy's thoughts)..In sports their is always the Human Factor COMBINED w/ the # crunching...so therefore the betting now becomes
speculative and instinctive.
I'll quit rambling now and leave you w/ these thoughts on your N.Illin. play tonight...
Buffalo lost 70-72 @ N Illin...which, considering their past basketball history isn't that bad,If the same Buffalo team shows up tonight that beat
Kent (which just had an impressive win @ BG this past saturday)and played OHIO U real tough,lost to an improving Northwestern team by only 7....i'm worried N. Illin is in big trouble...this is a Pass game for me..i like the scenerio of taking the home team when two bad teams play..but I don't like it when the home bad team has to lay 6 points..good luck hellah...just trying to help out...crib

Hey hella10, If you need a good money management system, then I think that there are lots of great cappers here to help you. All of these sound like good advice. I use even a more conservative system, and have had similiar success to some mentioned here. Set yourself a goal each day!! A limit on the winning side as well as the other side. If I reach either limit in a day, I'm off to other hobbies. A person is 10 times more likely to accomplish something, if their goal is realistic, and Clearly laid out!!!

Buddy, reading this thread yesterday brought to mind something I have been thinking about trying in hockey but I am not sure it is a manageable approach in light of the lines.
