Auburn laying 1 over Alabama

Where do I begin? Well, first this is a system play. . . the entire home favorite over a ranked road dog play. Auburn has lost only a single game to Western Michigan based on a horrible shooting performance. Still ten games won at home. Bama has lost two out of three on the road including losses to Utah and Vandy. This team simply has not played enough road games to prepare themselves for this Auburn team. Auburn shoots 52% at home and Alabama has struggled shooting 39% on the road.

Alabama has won only three of their last ten games ATS, Auburn has won seven out of their last ten.

One final stat that I like: Auburn has won eight games ATS over Bama and the home team has won the last eight games played between both teams.

Will not find too many games this year with so much pointing to Auburn IMO. . . I believe they should be 7 point favorites if not for Bama's inflated/home grown rating.

All aboard If Volfan doesn't give this one a 5* rating and if GMoney isn't on this one, I'll be VERY dissapointed (but they will be)!

Really liked this one when it came out as well and got it at a pk. My highest rated play so far this year. Think Auburn gets an easy win at home. GL with the play.

Thanks for the support. . . I should add that after looking closely at the Vegas lines, this game is not technically a system play IMO because Vegas released the line at a PK. . . however, several books released their opening lines thereafter as Auburn laying 1 or more so I guess in the end, it all depends on what you want to go with. The initial moves have obviously gone with Auburn which could be wise or public money. . . Personally it doesn't matter to me either way. I'll be interested in the consensus for this one tomorrow at all the different services that provide consensus reports.

So much for controlling the amount of games I play. . . here's the rest that I'm going with for now:

Maryland +whatever or up to a pk over Duke. . . going with GMoney on this one as Duke is prime to lose their first game especially with this one being on the road.

Syracuse +9.5 over Pitt. . . I like the backdoor opportunities a ton in this game as we have Cuse shooting the ball extremely well from three point range and Pitt struggling all season long from the free throw line. Hopefully it doesn't come down to this and Cuse hangs with Pitt till the end, but if they don't, then we will still have a chance.

Kentucky laying 5 over Notre Dame. . . Fighting Irish living with their great FG% up to now. Should be negated somewhat (although they are very good at creating easy looks) playing on the road and I expect Kentucky to have a significant rebounding advantage.

North Carolina laying 1 over UConn. . . system play. I bet at least 75% of the consensus is on UConn at all the consensus sites tomorrow!

NC Charlotte pk over Marquette. . . luckily, Charlotte doesn't have to play Louisville again. . . this time a team that relies on defense instead of offense.

Michigan laying 2.5 over Northwestern. . . gotta ride the Wolves till they drop. Wildcats solid at home, but there's just something about Michigan. . . playing this one small.

Will try and hold myself back from playing more until the night games, but you never know

Nickelback, what do you think about Syracuse on the moneyline. I think they have a chance to pull off the upset.

Cuse definitely has the athletes to do it. . . what are you getting for the ML? Unfortunatley, Carib doesn't have MLs posted yet. My only concern about winning or losing is the fact that Cuse hasn't played very many games on the road. But if the ML is +400 or higher, I'll think about taking a shot.

Nickelback, thinking about going with a small play on Syracuse ML at +375 (Olympic) ... hope I don't jinx your play but methinks Pitt will come back to earth after big Monday game domination at WVA. Especially like the +9.5 with Syracuse ... how big of a homecourt edge does Pitt have anyway ... don't they have a new arena?? Also take my Jayhawks (-21) to destroy K-State tomorrow.

You are correct, the Panthers have a new arena and it is beautiful! Hoever, as you point out, this is not a long lived and/or established home court.

IMO, the Panthers are still very over rated. The Bulldogs of UGA showed us that earlier in the year. As for home games that were battles, Pitt has one in this building and even that night on National TV ND did not bring their "A" game and the Panthers had an easy time of it. Same thing happenend when Ohio State was in earlier to the extent I do not even call that one a battle.

In summery, yes, I agree Pitt has no real "home court" advantage other than the fans and this group hasn't a clue how to support a power team since it has been sooooo long. Pitt has not faced this type of talent here in Pittsburgh or all year for that matter as the "W" column is filled with Arky Pine Bluff, Little Sisters of the Poor, East Louisianna State, etc.

Although I am not a big hoop guy by any means, I will be surely on the +9 today and will also make a small ML play as well.
