Once he hit that first three you could see it in his eyes...I felt like I was watching the basketball version of last year's Super Bowl...Played the in-game starting at Cleveland plus 13.5 when they were down 20.

He is the best ever.

I've seen MJ take over playoff games and Finals so many times thats I can't even count the times where he willed his team to win.

Nothing new here or is he the greatest ever.

still not even a conversation..there's MJ and then there's everyone else...If the Cavs win it all this year, the conversation begins...until then, not

Cavs fan, but disagree. Got a chance this year to spark the convo though.

Lemme know the last time MJ led both teams in all statistical categories. So please stop with the "nothing new here." MJ beat teams once their primes were over. LeBron has won rings while beating teams who were at their peak. I'm not arguing he's the best, cuz I don't think LeBron is, but these type of ignorant arguments make me chuckle. On top of the fact people have erased out of their minds the struggles of MJ and the facts of how he won and who he beat.

It's MJ, then LeBron, then everyone else. Let's not kid ourselves.

Kobe IMO is better then LeBron. Better playoff record and more clutch then LeBron.

These weak teams he beats in the east dont provide much challenge. Put him in the West where at least some decent teams to challenge them. He has a cakewalk to the finals every year. Compare those teams to the ones MJ faced every year just to make it to to the finals. Mj strugled early, Ill admit that. MJ in his prime. Lebron is not on that level. He beat the Pistons when they where still winning championships. They where chanps the previous season. They were not that old, its the Bulls where unstoppable once Jordan reached his prime and the team gelled.

The teams MJ was beating were old. This isn't even debatable lol He couldn't beat those teams when they were in their prime. Which again, isn't debatable. These are historical facts that people try to erase from their memory.

How many times has LeBron lost in the 1st round? How many times has MJ?

When the dust settles, only 1 thing MJ will have on LeBron is 6 for 6. Everything else will have been demolished.

The reason the East is weak? Because LeBron. Every team and player knows they aren't even playing for a title while he's there. That alone should say something. Durant, widely reguarded as the 2nd best player in the NBA could've went to Boston or Washington...teams in the East he could've put over the hump. Instead, he stayed in the West and feared LeBron.

Heat,Knicks,Pacers and Magic where all in there prime. Jazz, Suns and Sonics where prime as well.

East is week peroid. If he was in the west it wouldn't be weak. Also wouldn't be free ride to finals every year.

Stayed in the west and feared LeBron? More like, he wanted to play a brand of basketball that fit his style (UPTEMPO) and he wanted to win. As a phsyical specimen and athlete not many people do what Lebron does (Russ may be the only other one in the league with his physical talents) but as a basketball player, while having an amazing IQ, isn't the "basketball player" MJ was, nor Magic, nor Bird.

One side note on LeBron, i just love how he goes and gives Paul George the "bro" hug after he sweeps his team while when he loses walks off the court without so much as an acknowledgment as he did the last two finals he lost. Can't wait to see disappear down that tunnel again immediately after the final buzzer sounds in this year's finals when they crown the Warriors champs. He's such a great sport.... when he wins...

Marg you and T know a thing or 2 about disappearing after the finals. Still waiting for you to acknowledge those loose lips you had all of last year then vanishing. At least T manned up.

Arguing with people who hate LeBron is pointless. You guys don't think rationally.

If starting a team today I would have to take MJ or Lebron in their prime.
You can have Kobe. While I have tons of respect for his game I would prefer the other 2 over him.
I started this thread because of an accomplishment LEBRON pulled off in DESTROYING the PACERS in game 3.

Opinions are like assholes everyone has one. Time to move on.:0074

The great debate (and it is a great one).

The King needs two more to even be favorably compared to Magic Johnson, let alone Michael Jordan.

James = Bird at the moment. Both did everything with talented teams and both have 3.

Turndown, after NBA ends I don't revisit the forum until football season, no other compelling reason to hang around.. and as far as me "acknowledging" my loose lips last year, well yes I did talk as if the Warriors were going to win it all the Cavs won the finals, mostly in part to one of the greatest blocks in nba history (LeBron on Iggy) and Kyrie's step back dagger to ice game 7. However, The NBA took Draymond out of the picture for game 5 because they wanted to extend the season and make beaucoup bucks as they do on every finals game. To have the series end in five (as it would have had Draymond not been unfairly suspended -- I don't believe in "make up calls" when it comes to suspensions of behavior, especially in the FINALS - the Steven Adams move warranted a suspension, not the one vs the Cavs but I digress) would have been "bad for business"....nuff said. Dray gets suspended and the Cavs catch the perfect storm, major momentum shift and steal game 7. Championship crowned. Congrats on that. You earned it. Wanna send me your address and I'll have a Domino's pizza delivered to ya? The Warriors, especially Draymond havent forgotten that and it'll be even more fun this year when they take down Cleveland in the finals...even with their last ditch "sign every shooter available" (D. Will, Kyle Korver) desperation move because LeBron, the greatest player of all time knew he couldn't win with two other all-stars and the current supporting cast. Gonna be fun. Dubs in 5, max

Be a man for once in your life and quit making excuses. You tucked your tail and ran for the hills. Had the Warriors won, you'd be on here boasting. The only difference is I would show my fave cuz life goes on. You're just another bandwagon fan.

I'll take the Warriors in 5 bet all day. Name your price.
