YTD : a pathetic 12-18 ( - 9.6 units)

Though it has not been the kindest of seasons so far there is one game that I really love this week. Not going to call this a GOY or any of that crap but this game will have a large impact on my season.

Even though The Zips have owned the Buffalo Bulls over the past several years I see the Bulls as the much better side in this one. I am slightly concerned that the bye week has given the Zips some extra time to prepare and get healthy, but I really like Starks and the Bulls to dominate an Akron team that has been pretty badly out-yarded in all their games this year except the Army game. Akron's victories over Western Mich and Kent were both misleading and done with smoke and mirrors. The Zips ran out of luck vs. Temple and they will come up on the short side here as well. The Bulls should finally get a win over Akron this week.

The play is already in on Buffalo -1 vs. Akron for 12 units.

I agree with you about the MAC crazy league this year. Had a big parlay going last week-thought W Mich would cover--they had the lead at home getting 1 and then blew it and my parlay at the end. Was looking at Buff this week also-like he way they have been playing.. GL

Hawk, trust me that you were not the only one that W Mich hurt last week. That was a tough loss.

Go Bulls

This is what the MAC has become--betting twelve units on Buffalo. Next thing you know we'll be putting money on Eastern Washington unders in college hoops.

Thats funny, but true. Absolutely nothing makes sense in this conference anymore. 12 units on the bulls is not for the meek but this is not so much of a play on Buffalo as it is a major fade against the Zips.

I got to get out of the hole for the year and this is the path I have chose to do so. I can take a 12 unit hit if thats what it comes to but it will pretty much put me on the shelf until hoops start.

I was thinking of just riding Spackler's coat tails but can't find his posts:shrug:

I've been keeping him busy at work so I can get my handicapping done. We are both licking our wounds after all of our Washington Redskins -2.5 teasers blew up in our faces on Sunday.

What's your feeling about Ill/Ball State?

Staying away from that one. the MAC has been pretty God awful out of conference this year. The one exception? Ball State is it. Solid covers at Navy and Nebraska but they may have a bit more trouble here. Still, would not be surprised if they hung around in a pretty large let down spot for the Illini. Your guess is probably better than mine.

Thanks gents, finally in the black at:

13-18 +2.4 units

For once the MAC was somewhat predictable. Buff, CMU and Toledo all looked like solid plays and all covered. I would suspect that Akron shall remain a good fade for the rest of the season.
