I have Been a subscriber to the Cdn. moneysaver for over 7 years, maybe longer. it is an excellent magazine. though a small magazine of 20-26 pages, it ussually has a few article (short) that are of interest.

anyways even in good publications there are sometimes an article that is based on a scam or hype.

around 6 years ago, an article wrote about a system playing small caps. the great returns he received when using such a system. 40%+ and greater. the article was very general and invited reader to check out a web page for more "detailed" information.

basically the site stated how much money "was" made and a few testimonials of how great the writer was.....

anyways he was selling a 1000 newsletters (capped, did not want the valuable information to get out...lol
he only had 200 left to sell but the more he sold the higher the price.

the price for the system was $650, it claimed the first ones were sold for $50. apparently the final ones would sell for $4000.

I challenged him, and stated that if he provided the stocks (or some) so I could track them or the system for one year. would buy 50 newsletters from him if the results matched his claims.

he never responded and wrote moneysaver (probably many other subscribers did also) and he never was in the magazine.

the system was so great never heard from him, and it never was publish to back his claims.

thanks

another article appeared in the Oct. 2005 issue. this is probably not a scam. but a tout piece that hypes a stock without giving much important information.

Dianor trades for .38 .05 52 wk low .10 52 wk high .70

it may be a good diamond speculation, and god knows they are not bad at promotion. so may run on that alone, however the article should have more details and less hype about the great discovery.

not really a scam just tout, hype, promotional article. here is the email sent the magazine with my concerns.

thanks

have been a subscriber for years. WIsh to write my objections to the Jim Steel article and wonder why it was ever printed. though penny stocks can be a speculative part of an investment portfolio, with risks involved, this is a pure tout piece.

the company has 105,256,531 shares outstanding, of coarse the article does not state this, or how much cash the company has on hand for exploration.

how much do they plan to spend and how close or far away (in years ) are they from a feasibility study. how many drills or how much drilling has been done and how much will be in the future.

no you printed an aw shucks article; this fellow Joe found a great source of diamonds. I even know the vehicle Joe drives, and details of his house, except very little for how much has been spent on explortation.

if the property is so good where is the interest from sr. mining companies, or other jr. also why are they not raising more money than 1.3 million.

also how much does Jim Steel get paid to hype the stock from Dianor; what is a nominal fee.

Dianor is at .38 +.05 52 week low .10 52 week high .72

wondering how some articles like this get published.
