I believe we have a good amount of card players here.

I love playing holdem but the drive to casino is to far anymore to play consistently.

I havent played online forever.

Can you still play online for real $?

What are the best sites ?

Any help appreciated.



I found online reviews and it seems that the names "americas cardroom", "intertops", "black chip", and "bovada" seem to come up the most

Seems like a decent site. My nephew won $10K in a tourney there so I gave it a shot. I deposited $500 and played around 1 day. Played a few small tournaments and some cash games. I lost about $200 or so then never went back for a week or so then just cashed out. Their site and my Norton never got along well and I had problems logging in. I didn't want to have to disable Norton every time I played so I just gave it up. I'm just not into poker anymore. I have zero patience for it.

Addict are you still in PA? I would wait it out until PA gets the green light for online gambling, which shouldn't be long.

Rivers currently has their sportsbook app up and running which lets you build your ticket from anywhere and then just have the QR code scanned at the casino to purchase your ticket. I spoke to a supervisor there and said that it was a nice feature but not super useful and he told me it's up and running so people get used to using it for when account deposits are given the go ahead which is just waiting on some politicians signatures.

They will have legal, regulated poker online as well. I'd just wait for that because a lot of the offshore sites that take US customers have had too many issues to think your money is anywhere near safe. Cheating scandals, bots galore, no pay issues, etc...

I just know I cant afford to keep driving to Rivers in Pitt or presquile in Erie every week.


For about 5 yrs I quit playing for same reason Jack stated but recently I have had the itch and been enjoying it.

Just wanted a alterative to the casinos
