I saw an amazing writeup written by someone here at Jacks on the pitfalls of online poker. I was wondering if anyone knows who wrote it, and where I can find it. It was about 6 months ago when I saw it but can't remember what forum. Very amazing writeup. Any help would be great.

Thanks

I think it was Nolan Dalla that wrote the article. I played at Ultimate Bet (Jack or IE feel free to edit if necessary) for a couple of months and saw some pretty unbelievable cards for the good and bad. I played all night one time and had pocket AA's about a dozen times and lost the hands all but once, and that was slow playing them and going all in preflop. I also saw 4 of a kind win 4 times in a row and 2 of them were 6's. I don't know if I really trust any internet poker...

never slow play AA preflop unless the table is very short handed...i wouldn't even do it with 4 people....maybe not even 3....

its a bad idea and you WILL lose them most of the time if you slow play them....

play em hard...those big hands might not win big pots, but they get you money you need to win the big ones by playing smart

always remember this: most $$ you make on the internet is not going to be made through your great plays...but it will be made (or lost) through mistakes made by you or your opponents

i play hold 'em on line, at casinos and with friends.

pockets AA, KK or QQ a lot of the times can be a losing hand. get the money early while you can.;) it's better to win a little than lose a lot, because you didn't want to throw away pocket AA.

btw, FRED

btw, FRED

i think it is trustworthy.

they get 5% of each rake.

and there are many tables going and many rakes.

the companies are making good money for doing very little.

they don't need any problems with cheating customers.

good luck:D
