So. Cal
I'm currently with an online "sportsbook" (hint-hint) that doesn't look to be featured/sponsored (shocker) by MJ but was hoping for some help/advice.

I just went back to depositing/betting online a few months ago and apparently this "sportsbook" has a new w/d policy of

[
  1. LIST=1]
  2. $2500 max w/d per request
  3. 1 free w/d request per year
  4. 3% fee per w/d after that
  5. 3-5 week "processing" time per request (that's their stated policy but it could be "sooner"....my previous experience is that it usually takes a month to go from pending to processed then a while for the "check is in the mail" process.
[*]1 w/d request at a time until request goes from "pending" to "processed"
[*]they allow for a max of 2000 deposit per day and my account is such that I have unlimited deposits.
[/LIST]

SO......

basically I can deposit $2000 x 365 days per year but can only w/d (per their policy) $2500 x 10-17 times per year

based on doing nothing moving forward. it could take me 5 months just to get the money I deposited back and another 8 months to get the winnings I have accumulated.

I find all of this completely ridiculous and asked them how in the world they had any customers.......they said they had the #1 database in the world and not many people complain about this policy.......I half expect my account to be at $0 tomorrow and the site shutdown!

My questions are:

1) Do you; MJ or IE; have any insight/suggestions/contacts to immediately get my money out of this "sportsbook" as I'd prefer never to deal with them again?

2) Before doing this, I'd like to know if there are other books who have a reasonable deposit/wd policy in terms of $ value depositing (higher limits, limited restrictions), reasonable timelines receiving funds upon w/d, etc?

3) If yes to #2 .....who would you recommend???

Thanks in advance for your help and if you need to reply in confidence please send me an email.

was this a credit card dealings you were doing?

betonline allows book to book transfers, would your current book do this?

A Book to Book Transfer is a free way to transfer funds to your BetOnline account from another participating sportsbook. Your account will be credited once instruction has been received from the transferring sportsbook. Any withdrawal fees charged by the transferring book will be refunded upon request. Book to Book deposits are not eligible for deposit bonuses. Contact Live Help for more information on participating sportsbooks.

here is their deposit/withdrawal information

I was wondering the same thing:scared

I am no help because I am Canadian and can get paid with no fees almost instantly from tons of books (not open to Americans).

Although I will say for Americans Madjack sponsor 5dimes will pay you and fees are not that crazy, so I'd go that route. 5dimes isn't perfect but you will get paid.

If you're talking sportsbook.com I'm sure they are going to stick with their posted rules for payouts and I don't know anybody over there anymore so I wouldn't be able to help you get it out bypassing their rules.

Yes it is sportsbook

Are the wd rules at other books much better and faster?

The manager at sportsbook really want helpful and just quoted stated policy and had no answers for my questions other than to apologize. I'd be fine with it if it were a 3-5 day policy but 3-5 weeks is ridiculous.

Don't 'know about the book to book transfer and I'd be sho ked if they offered that based on my dealings with them but .I'll research more...any others done this with any issues or restrictions on wd after the transfer?

sportsbook dot com

I checked with betonline and they don't partner with sportsbook on book to book transfers (think he said there were 4 or 5 that they do partner with).

Not sure what my options are at this point as I'm not interested in depositing more money into a new account while my money is tied up at sportsbook.

guess i'll see how long the first w/d takes at sportsbook and go from there but the 1 w/d request at a time and 3-5 week timeline is absolutely ridiculous.

just an update.....5 weeks going on 6 and the original w/d request is still "pending"

this is from their "mgmt. staff"

Thank you for getting in touch.

There is currently a backlog of withdrawals that is causing an inevitable delay. The length of the delay is unknown. We are processing withdrawal transactions, but not at the speed we're used to. We're working hard to solve the issues that are causing this unexpected delay, but we don't have a precise ETA of when will that be accomplished.

REPLY 2

We will do everything in our power to have your check out the door ASAP; regretfully we cannot send any wires to any of those banks, although the option is available for you.

The reason why for others it may be easier to send funds out it is unknown to me as I do not work for the competitors. What I can tell you is that in order to run this operation in a 100% legal way there are measures that have to be taken that may end up in higher time frames. Also, the size of our database is considerably higher than the rest of books out there. We rather take longer but be safer.

I find most of this to be BS; but I have no idea what additional recourse I have.

Man I am glad I don't have to deal with that shit.......meanwhile I just got money in my bank account in less then 24 hours.

I am sure you'll get your money eventually.

Stick with Madjack Sportsbooks at least Jack can help when this bullshit happens. And yes it is bullshit. Even if you are American it should never take more then 7 days to get your money.....ever.

What a fuking joke.

If it is my Canadian bank I'll put in a good word for ya.:tongue

If it is TD, Royal Bank, Scotia Bank, or CIBC you'll be fine.

In a truly shocking turm of events, the 2nd wd request has gone pending after only 11 days (last time it didnt take long for check to arrive after it went pending)

Working on bank wire option but they keep asking me to do the same thing over and over (submit account, routing, and some other bank number)

11 days is a much more acceptable timeframe (although still dont understand why it cant be done in 48 hrs)
