Round 1 play (2pts):

Miguel Angel Jimenez to beat Rafael Cabrera-Bello -150 @ Paddy Power
Backing the worthy favourite in this matchup. Jimenez has played in 25 common events with Cabrera-Bello since the start of last season, but has shot the higher 1st round score just four times. He has a good history in this event and comes into the event in good form having finished 2nd last week.

[unofficial rd1 system plays: Lawrie Pa tb Cabrera-Bello -120; Manassero tb Willett -138; Colsaerts tb Cabrera-Bello -111]

Round 2 play (2pts):

Steve Webster to beat Scott Jamieson -110 @ 5Dimes
Opposing Jamieson who holds sole posession of the lead after the opening round. Quite simply, he has never been in this position before now. In his ten previous European Tour starts, his best start to date had seen him finish the 1st round in 28th place. He has secured a couple of top-10 finishes due to big moves up the leaderboard in the final round, but the only previous time that he has been in the top-10 during an event (2010 Alfred Dunhill Championship), he followed that with rounds of 74-77. It is not a though he is even a winner on the Challenge Tour either: he may have earned his Tour Card by finishing 14th on the 2010 Challenge Tour Money List, but he had just one top-4 finish all season and until the last three months of the season, he had failed to record a top-20 finish on that Tour last season. He will surely struggle to match today's round and should lose this matchup to the experienced Webster who lies 2nd after the opening day's golf.

[unofficial rd2 system plays: Hansen A tb Aiken -105; Dyson tb Singh +110; Derksen tb Havret +100]
