Round 3 plays (2pts):
Marcus Fraser to beat Felipe Aguilar -110 @ Stan James
Opposing Aguilar who holds a share of the lead, but hasn't secured a top-10 finish since the first week of June. He has had one top-20 finish in that period, whereas Fraser has had top-20 finishes in each of the last two weeks. With top-25 finishes in each of his last five Italian Opens, Fraser looks more likely to stay in contention this weekend.
Marcus Fraser to beat Seve Benson -155 @ 5Dimes
Benson won the 2008 Piemonte Open on the Challenge Tour on this course, but he is still no match for a player inside the top-100 of the World Rankings: Fraser holds a 17-4-0 lead over him since 2010 and that includes shooting always the lower 3rd round score.
Francesco Molinari to beat Felipe Aguilar -175 @ 5Dimes
This will be a tough final group for Aguilar with home favourite ensuring a large home following and lots of media interest. Molinari is a former winner of this event (2006) with three other top-10 finishes in his last five Italian Opens, so he should a formidable playing partner.
[unofficial rd3 system play: Edfors tb Lagergren -125]
